Wouldn’t go there again.

I got a bowl with rice, black lentils, and falafel, plus some toppings. My partner got something similar except with lettuce not rice.
The lentils were not cooked properly, they were hard and dry, kind of like eating gravel. We brought them back and told them they were inedible. The woman behind the counter wanted to argue about. Another employee came over and did help us out. Remade the bowls with freshly made lentils from the back.

The falafel had whole chickpeas in them, they were not prepped properly either.

Nothing seemed to have any spices or seasoning. It was all very bland.

Cons: Bland, tasteless food, Food poorly prepped, no quality control.

Good food bad service

The food was really really good, and they get endless bonus points for actually having healthy options. While I was there they had a limited time Japanese sweet potato option that was sublime! The only downside to the food was the falafel was not crunchy.

That being said, everything else was bad. They were busy when we came in but it really isn’t an excuse for how dirty the restaurant was, especially because the place has only been open for a few weeks. The trash cans were full and overflowing, and the food serving area was a complete mess. That meant cross-contamination - there was a piece of meat that made it into my bowl!

We were also handed off to other workers as we placed our order multiple times, which meant that they were constantly confused about what we wanted and they tried to pack up my bowl twice before it was complete.

The juice machines also appeared to be broken, since they all had sediment on the bottom.

I’d like to come again because the food was legit great, but they need some serious improvements.

Pleasant Surprise, better than expected

Really tasty, lots of options to create your own meal. It’s possible to have vegan gluten free if wanted. The black lentils were unique and tasty. The roasted eggplant dip was loved by all, as was the garlic dressing (vegan). The crazy feta and zhoug were very tasty. The harissa was nice also but not spicy enough.
