I was impressed at how good the vegans pizza was. You do have to get a whole pie, you can’t just get a slice.

Excellent vegan pizza - Edit
Okay, look. I know the listing rules say a pizza with vegan cheese isn't enough but. . . .we really like this place. And most pizza places in the area don't offer vegan cheese. And the pizzas are delicious. Between visits to the area in 2022 and 2023 I think we've been here something like 5 times and every time the pizza has been made with care and been super tasty. it's the American thin crust style, sauce has a little bit of oomph but isn't spicy, and the vegan mozzarella is generous. We are partial to the roasted peppers and grilled onions for toppings, and also the garlic and basil.
Read moreIt's a townie place, which I love; not full of tourists, but the staff were completely aware of and helpful with vegan concerns. The last time we were there, a local person was on Jeopardy and the small group at the bar was rooting her on and invited us to join in on the fun.
If you're looking for high end or "upscale" or whatever this isn't the place for you. If you're looking for the classic "local pizza place" experience but with aspect in tune with vegan eating, you're in luck.
