Great vegan Gyros - Edit
Don’t come too late! Wanted to try the vegan Souvlaki but sadly they were out already. Had amazing vegan Gyros though! Very nice staff - if you order/reserve a day in advance they offer to make vegan Moussaka!

Das vegane Gyros war gut und hat auf jeden Fall satt gemacht. Das „Fleisch“ war sehr sparsam, aber dennoch wirklich lecker. Zusammen mit den Pommes und dem Salat eine gute Mahlzeit!

The portions are fantastic, the food tastes good and the ladies who work here are very welcoming and understand veganism very well. The dolmades were very good also! We went back twice.

The family-run restaurant has really nice vegan options with traditional Greek food on the menu. We felt really welcomed by the staff/daughter of the house. After ordering, she asked if we were vegans or vegetarians so that she knew to replace tzatziki with hummus. I tried the stuffed peppers and vegan gyros, which were both super delicious!

Read moreAfter we asked for the vegan card, the friendly woman in the service came to our table and told us which meals they could also serve vegan.
The food was very delicious and we will come back if we have the time one of the other nights during our stay!

Best vegan spot in Faliraki 🌟 - Edit
This was a surprise gem 💎 for real. We found this restaurant by chance and fell in love immediately. The waitress named Ewa/Sally, who is the daughter of the spot, really went out of her way to give us an amazing food experience. They have a separate vegan menu with different types of mock meat alternatives. The mother is cooking and everything tastes really authentically Greek compared to the touristic spots all over Faliraki. Ewa told us that every Wednesday and Friday the family enjoys meat free dishes and if we let them know a day in advance they can include us in the planning of the dishes. Everything was so heart-warming and charming. We really loved it. In the end we got to taste a sesame cake from "mamma" and it was pure heaven. This spot is a BIG recommendation cause from the outside it looks less "fancy" but it's more than worth it. The dishes were beyond delicious.

Vegan Options & Lovely Staff - Edit
A few vegan options, gyros on its own, gyros with chips & salad, burger, tomatoes/peppers stuffed with rice. Had gyros on its own for lunch (€5) and it was delicious, meat substitute was used which I preferred to the mushrooms I’d had in other places. Items weren’t on the main menu but there was a board outside clearly listing vegan options. Having spoken to the owner it was clear they were very interested in doing more vegan options, they just wanted to try out a few items now as they didn’t want it to be wasted as money was tight coming out of covid. Plan to add more vegan options and do a separate vegan menu 2023 season
