Tasty food and beautiful setting on the beach front in the shade! Has a vegetarian page on the menu. Had the Penang curry and morning glory - both pretty good!

I eat twice here, first time I had a tofu stir fried which was really nice although super small. Second time I had tofu in penang curry which was discasting. There was no soup on the tofu and it tasted off, I could not eat it. Plus, overprice. The place is super nice though.

Great atmosphere and food - Edit
We stayed at Castaway in Feb 2021 and had a set dinner included as part of our package. They were able to adapt the vegetation menu and make it vegan. The food was lovely and satisfying. Highly recommended!

Served chicken in the vegetarian option - Edit
We ordered off the vegetarian menu; Penang curry and reiterated vegetarian Penang curry. But half way through eating it we found a large lump of chicken. When we called the waiter over her repeatedly asked ‘but is this the only lump’ to which we could only say ‘we don’t know’ as hadn’t been searching as we ate, or haven’t searched through the rest (only half eaten). We refused to pay for the food and left. Really disappointed as a whole page of dedicated vegetarian food seemed really exciting.

They have a great vegetarian menu. Most of the meals are spicy but they have also a awesome Tofuburger. At least the staff is also very friendly.

Read moreLove this place. They have vegan and vegetarian options and the price is fair, as everything on the island is a bit more expansive. Here you get great quality and taste plus a super chill and clean terasse right in front of the beautiful beach. You can also rent snorkel aquipment and kayaks at their dive shop. Staff is super nice too! Highly recomment!
