Their vegan cannelés are really good but I can't compare with the traditional ones because I had never tried them before. My non-vegan friends had, a few times in our trip actually, and they think the vegan ones here are much lighter and as delicious as the traditional ones

Hard to find product! Bordeaux specialty, cannelé, in vegan version. They taste the same as the originals! We were delighted.

The vegan cannelés are very good, and this is the only shop specialising in cannelés in Bordeaux that offers a vegan version. I haven't tried the spread they sell yet.

Petite boutique située au cœur de Bordeaux proposant des produits locaux mais version Vegan. Les cannelés sont très bons bien croustillants et moelleux à l’intérieur.
Read moreDommage qu’il n’y ai pas de numéro de téléphone et très peu de quantité de produits vegan. Il faut de déplacer sur place directement pour réserver les quantités souhaitées. Après avoir pris 8 cannelés il n’y en avait plus pour la journée.

Quel plaisir de voir de la belle pâtisserie 100% végetale à Bordeaux! Nous avons goûté l'opéra et le russe praliné, un vrai délice: bien travaillés autant pour la présentation que pour le goût, sucrés juste à souhait, un vrai bonheur. Je reccomande vraiment. Les prix sont vraiment juste pour la qualité et la grandeur des parts. Attention, les patisseries sont vendues à Cassonnade où tout n'est pas vegan, demandez bien pour être surs.

Located in Bordeaux, at 53 rue St James, near the Porte de la Grande Cloche, this pastry shop and tea room, offers artisanal organic Bordeaux cannelés for all tastes, for tasting, take-away or online !!!

This small shop has the advantage of offering several cannelés, vegan, vanilla, and even sugar-free!
The manager explains the different kinds and sizes of cannelés to us for an incredible tasting of this emblematic dessert!
The shop also offers a vegan chocolate spread with fluted flavor and rum! I missed the opportunity to take one unfortunately.
Cannelé molds are also available for sale.
In short, a boutique not to be missed in Bordeaux to taste this Bordeaux pastry, vegan or not!

Par chance nous sommes tombées sur la boutique cassonade en passant la Grande Horloge. Quelle belle surprise de voir une offre de cannelés et gâteau St James (style nonette). Les petits cannelés sont excellents. Vous pouvez même leur passer commande pour des cannelés taille classique à l'avance !

When I saw from afar a sign indicating organic cannelés, I thought I'd take a look to see if they had anything vegan by any chance. Great idea, as the cannelés and St James are just excellent! We didn't get to taste the hot drinks as we arrived a little too late, but we highly recommend the pastries. The price was reasonable and the staff was really friendly too!
