A good few vegan pastries option - Edit
I went twice during my stay in Bordeaux. Their coffee is probably the best one I had in Bordeaux (I really struggled to find good coffee). They’ve a good selection of vegan pastries.

Tasty plant based local specialities - Edit
I stopped by on a sunny day in Bordeaux and chose a plant based cannelés and vegan ‘Sainte James’. I preferred the Sainte James due to its moist and lovely orange/almond combo. Both were tasty, good to try the local specialities. They also had a vegan cookie.

A treat to try the local delicacies - Edit
We came across this by accident and enjoyed the vegan cannelés and vegan ‘Saint James’. The server was vegan and helpfully recommended one of her favourite places to eat for dinner too! * it doesn’t go by Cerise Vert- just Cassonade (that I could see).

Meilleurs cannelés vegans de Bordeaux ! - Edit

They vegan Canalé and Saint James, the typical pastries of the city. They send it by the unit so you need to check it out for sure.

Étant bordelaise, j'avoue que les cannelés me manquaient et je suis ravie de vous dire que ceux-ci sont excellents ! Et le saint James est aussi une petite bombe. 🙃

The place for vegan Cannelé - Edit
This pastry shop has vegan Cannelé, the famous pastry from Bordeaux. They also offer their own creation, a Saint James, named after the street the shop is located on. While not all products are vegan, they offer quite a few vegan items. Worth visiting.

Nice to try a vegan canelle - Edit
I wasn't a fan of the vegan canelle but it was still nice to try something local. They also had a vegan cake which was good and a vegan Chai latte.

Vegan St James and vegan canelé - Edit
As others have noted, the items made by this brand are vegan and they have their products at this bakery, but the bakery as a whole isn’t vegan.
Read moreWe arrived and the staff member also noted the cookie and the marble cake were vegan. So we got the marble cake and the vegan canelé and the vegan st James. (The canelé and st James were clearly labelled vegan, but there weren’t many St James’ and we arrived early). I also had an allongé. We sat outside and it was lovely. I’ve never had a non vegan canelé to compare but it wasn’t my favourite thing. The other two cakes were lovely and my coffee was nice. The staff member was lovely too

Different vegan options - Edit
The traditional cakes, as advertised on hc, are not vegan, ie the cannele and st james cake. However they have vegan strawberry brioche, lemon cake, cookie and cookie of the day. Its about 3€-2,5€ per cake. They have oat and almond milk
Read morePros: Very tasty, Very cute atmosphere , Nice location

The cannele and the st James cake that are labelled vegan are obviously vegan. We got the second last vegan st James cake today so perhaps they’d sold out? We were early too

Vegan cannelé & Saint-James - Edit
It was my first time ever eating a cannelé, and Cassonade is a well-known pastry that offers a vegan cannelé (alongside non vegan) and Saint-James.
Read moreI did love so much the Saint James ! It was a nice discovery.
