Amazing Food, Beautiful Plating, Good Ambience - Edit
Casserole is a meat-free concept that operates for dinner on Fridays to Sundays; i.e., it’s an omni restaurant with a separate vegetarian menu. The vegetarian menu is clearly labelled for allergens such as gluten, nuts, etc; the vegetarian menu is eggless (they use OnlyEg) but some dishes contain dairy (they are supposed to have vegan cheese but are currently out of stock). I believe the dishes contain alliums by default; not sure if allium-free customisation is possible. Appreciated that the chef personally came to check with us on our dietary preferences, and nicely reassured us he would ensure everything we got was vegan like we requested! The vegan savoury options we ordered were all absolutely delicious - Banana Leaf Dry Braised Beef Rendang, Flaked Tuna Nicoise Salad, and Thai Fish Cake & Roasted Sesame Soba Salad. They also offer vegan desserts such as Mango Pana Cotta and Tropical Coconut Delight Sorbet. Hope the dairy in the menu can be replaced with plant-based dairy substitutes (perhaps Oatside milk, Herbyvore cheese, etc to support local brands?) so that the vegetarian menu is fully vegan in the future! Nonetheless I was pleasantly surprised by and truly impressed by the meat-free concept; both my non-veg companion and I agreed we would honestly want to return for the amazing food, beautiful plating, and good ambience. Great if you’re looking for a fancier date or celebrating a special occasion, having a staycation or visiting the attractions at Sentosa, etc. Personally think their meat-free concept needs more publicity and deserves more recognition especially since there aren’t many vegan options on Sentosa Island haha. To get to Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa Resort, take the free hotel shuttle bus from VivoCity Lobby F, or take Sentosa Express to Beach Station then transfer to Sentosa Beach Shuttle or Sentosa Bus A till Siloso Point Stop.

Amazing find! - Edit
I stayed at the Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa last weekend and part of the reason for booking was becuase there was a vegetarian/vegan restaurant on site.
Read moreUnfortunately I only got to dine here one evening, but would have went back without a doubt.
I wanted to try the charcoal grilled satay but that was unavailable unfortunately.
I ordered the beef rendang and it was amazing. The presentation was so lovely. The flavour of the ‘beef’ was not like anything I have ever tasted before, it was done so well! The whole meal was so good and tasty and there was so much effort put into the flavours of this meal.
I also ordered the crispy gyoza which again had lovely presentation. The taste was good but I think the filling was a faux meat, where as I really enjoy a vegetable gyoza.
I wish I could have tried dessert but the food was so filling.
I did not realise until I dined that the area for the restaurant is the same as where you would dine for breakfast. So each restaurant has their own area within the larger setting. I think I was expecting a seperate restaurant, so I think the atmosphere may have been different?
The servers were so lovely and attentive here.
The meal with a beer cost around $75, which is quite expensive but this is a 5* hotel. I did really enjoy the meal so I see this as a treat.
This is a must try restaurant if staying here or visiting the hotel.
Pros: Taste, Variety, Servers
Cons: Atmosphere

Amazing dishes that we have tried:
🌱= VEGAN , Food in this restaurant is generally not Allium-free but special requests can be made in advance.
🍴Starters:
🌱Flaked Tuna Nicoise Salad
-Confit Provencal Vegetables, Kalamata Olive Tapenade, Shredded V Egg, Oven Roasted Potato, Piquillo Pepper Dressing. Absolutely exquisite!
🔸️Middle Eastern Spiced Kebab & Falafel -Hummus, Broiled Eggplant, Beetroot Dip, Warm Pita Bread. Exotic taste of spices that excites the tastebud.
🌱Thai Fish Cake & Roasted Sesame Soba Salad
-Shredded raw vegetables, citrus light soy dressing. The fish cake is tasty with scented spices and I love it.
🌱Assam Laksa
Shredded Egg & Rice Noodle, Tamarind Flavoured Broth. The broth has a legit "shrimp" taste without being gamey!
🔸️Masala Dosa
Fermented Rice Pancake, Potato Masala, Shredded Egg, Tomato & Coconut Chutney
🍽Main course:
🌱Charcoal Grilled Satay
-Lontong rice cake, fresh red onions, cucumber, vegan peanut sauce. The fragrant aroma of the sauce brought this dish to another level!
🔸️Indian Spiced Jackfruit Biryani
-Roasted nuts, fried crispy shallots, papadum.
🌱Banana Leaf Dry Braised Beef Rendang -Blue pea flavoured jasmine rice, red chilli sambal, roasted nuts, pickles. The blue pea rice has an excellent texture and very fragrant. Comes with vegan omelette strips.
🍮Dessert:
🔸️Eggless Chocolate Cake
🌱Mango Panna Cotta
🌱Tropical Coconut Delight
🍸Drinks:
Organic wines and original cocktail concoctions featuring garnishes grown in-house
My personal top 3 picks:
🌟Flaked Tuna Nicoise Salad
🌟Middle Eastern Spiced Kebab & Falafel
🌟Banana Leaf Dry Braised Beef Rendang
