I loved this cute cafe right near the river. I was stealth camping in my van for the night so I went for lunch and got the buffalo tofu bowl (yummy), then the beyond burger (delish), Mac and cheese (good just needed a touch of salt), potato lentil curry, and chili (haven’t tried yet), for my next few meals. Fully stocked on desserts but I didn’t buy any. Service was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable

We go every time we visit Chattanooga. Menu is unbelievable. Specials are always worth ordering. Cupcake case that will have you ordering desert before food arrives.

We eat here every time we visit Chattanooga and that’s often.,We love the food and cozy atmosphere. The staff are so attentive and the food is always wonderful. There are many tasty plant based options to choose from and we always feel good after eating the food. We don’t leave bloated and tired but instead we feel happy and energized by the fresh food especially the garlicky kale!!! Thank you! Open one of these in Nolensville TN please! 😊

This was a wonderful experience all around! The server was so kind, entertaining, and knowledgeable! We had a meatball sub and a chik’n salad wrap. They were both great, but the wrap was really the showstopper! The flavors and presentation were perfect! The meatballs were great, and I loved the cheese sauce even though I am used to more of a melted mozzarella. We got a side of mac & cheese, and that was honestly like one I’ve made at home. We also got a side of the chili Mac, and that was very good. We normally don’t get dessert, but we got an apple tart, and it was delicious. The meatballs were great, and I loved the cheese sauce even though I am used to more of a melted mozzarella. It was a beautiful restaurant. Our GPS wanted us to park way before we got to the restaurant, so be aware that there is parking right outside the restaurant in case your GPS does the same.

Amazing food. I'm from Atlanta and make it a point to come here every time I'm in town. Hubby loves the Philly cheesesteak, and everything we have tried here is awesome. They have a great kids menu too. One of my favorites is the Buffalo bowl. They also have vegan and gluten free desserts which are delish. Prices are reasonable.

One of the best vegan spots I’ve ever been to for sure! Their specialty is definitely their cashew cheese so is recommend getting anything that includes that. We got the vegan nachos & chorizo burrito & the loaded sweet potato as a side and they were all amazing😄

It’s so cute, from the moment you walk up to the front your expectations are high and the food does not disappoint! I had the Chili Mac, Garliky Kale, and the BBQ Jackfruit Nachos. Everything was tasty and flavorful! For dessert I got cupcakes for myself and my non-vegan coworkers, who loved them! This place is totally worth a visit if you’re in town.
Read moreThe picture of the nachos is probably not as good looking as they would have prepared it - I was traveling so they gave it to me deconstructed so I could travel with it easier. I’m sure their presentation would be better than mine! But they were soooo tasty anyway!

Unbelievably good! Everything about this place was absolutely fantastic. My friend and I stumbled upon Cashew while traveling and it was honestly one of the best and most memorable meals I’ve ever eaten (I had the meatball bowl). It was the first vegan meal my friend had and she was sold (I believe she had the burrito). This place is just that amazing! You must try the cashew cheese! We bought some to go and put it on everything. Clean facility, friendly staff, and relaxing atmosphere in a charming part of the city. Good value with large portions, as well. While I didn’t try any, the baked goods looked fabulous.

While traveling we planned our trip around stopping here. Both of us got the Phili Chez steak and Mac and chez in lieu of chips for $3 more. We LOVED the sandwich!!!! Good flavoring in the seitan, nice portion of mushrooms onions and bell peppers for complex flavor profile. And hesitatingly we got some doughnuts that are also gluten free as most gf doughnuts are nasty. But these were fluffy enough and delicious!!!

Came here for a late lunch on a Tuesday. Beautiful space—some folks were posted up working, and I could definitely see it being an enjoyable place to get some work done, as well as dine.
Read moreI got the kale Caesar with a scoop of chicken salad and a side of mac, and my husband got the meatball sub. Both were good! They also have a large, diverse area of desserts available and we got a french toast donut and cookie dough cupcake to go. 😋
Overall, would happily eat here again, or grab takeout and eat in the park.

Long Wait & Horrible Philly - Edit
I hate to leave a bad review for a fully vegan restaurant, so here are 3 pity stars for a fully vegan menu and nice atmosphere! Also, the prices are really good! Pretty good location in proximity to downtown. Although Unfortunately, what I ordered was just horrible. I got the Philly and Mac, and both were nearly inedible. The seitan was so overwhelmingly flavored with liquid smoke that it was unbearable. Almost reminiscent of cheap jerky. In addition- it was soggy as heck- and I even ate there.. I’m sure other items on the menu are good, as most of the reviews are positive! I guess I just ordered the wrong thing! Also, don’t come here and be in a rush, I had to wait nearly an hour for just one Philly and a side of Mac and Cheeze!

Visiting Chattanooga found this gem with a Google search. Came over for lunch and plan to revisit while we are here. I had the special: Alfredo Gnocchi with steak bites and my husband had the meatball sub. I’d give 10 stars if I could. Friendly wait staff, great menu options and the taste was unbelievable.

Man do I love plant based vegan cafés. Cashew has so many soy free, real food options. My only complaint was that our food was a bit dry, but that could be because it took us awhile to pick it up. I had the beet burger with a side of garlicky kale, and my partner had the seitan cheese steak. We both liked them! I do wish they made regular cookies with gluten, but the gluten free cookie I had was quite tasty.

Wonderful vegan restaurant in Chattanooga. We found it the first night in town. The Jackfruit Nachos are AMAZING! The burger wasn't as spectacular. My husband enjoyed the Jackfruit Sandwich. Delicious desserts. I love the logo so much that I purchased a shirt.

We had such an amazing meal there today! And the place is adorable! We had the nachos, a Crunchwrap supreme, the Thai sweet potato, chili Mac, the Caesar salad and regular Mac n cheese (which was some of the best Mac n cheese I’ve had in awhile). We also loved the desserts. We had the blondie, the Oreo stuffed cookie, the biscoff cupcake and the cookie dough cupcake. If you’re in Chattanooga and you’re vegan you must go and make your friends go too, everyone else I was with was not vegan and there was not a crumb left!
