Adorable place with nice vegan options

The place is adorable, with a stream running right outside and lovely decor. There's only 1 vegan item on the menu (besides the soup), but it's very flexible: you can choose to make it a sandwich, wrap or salad, and there are several additional ingredients and seasonings to choose from, so it won't be repetitive if you eat here multiple times.

One thing that I would have liked would be for at least one of the available cakes/sweet pastries to be suitable for vegans. But they did offer to make vegan pancakes for us, which is nice (we ended up not having pancakes, as we were eating lunch instead).

Highly recommended if you're around Manteigas!

Thank you so much for your review. We are just starting knowing better the vegan regime once the demand is increasing, so is very important your contribution. In meantime, thanks to your observation, we already introduce a vegan, gluten free and sugar free home made cookie to be available any time, for anyone. Hope you had enjoyed Manteigas! See you a next time😉

Vegan Wraps in a beautiful relaxing environment

It was great to have a "off the shelf" vegan wrap without having to ask questions. You have a choice of multiple vegan seasonings. It would be great if they also offered vegan mayonnaise to have a dressing for the wrap.

Pros: Very beautiful ambient , Good food , Very nice and courteous staff

Cons: Too few vegan options, GEOMEAL not environmentally friendly

Heavenly tearoom

Lovely and cozy tearoom near the village's creek! Great and well prepared loose leaf teas and tisanes (Chá Camélia, Cantinho das Aromáticas). Vegetarian options are available that can be made vegan (daily soup, toasts, bruschetta, salad, and sorbet). Friendly staff! Excellent location to explore the village! I forgot to take pictures of the tea and toast!

A new menu will be available soon!

Pros: Veg friendly in a area with almost zero options, Great and quite location, Great loose leaf tea, and preparation!
