I thoroughly enjoyed this place. The atmosphere was cosy, the food was beautifully presented and tasted great. The bread we got on the side was AMAZING and I regret not having asked to buy a full bag of it.

Being a strict vegetarian by birth and vegan by insistence and a long way away from India, I didn't know what to expect. I am glad that Happy Cow recommended this restaurant. It was a late evening, rainy day in Montevideo and hunger pangs had taken over my mind. My friend and I found this elegant and ambient Vegan restaurant. We were treated to a tasty meal filled with vegetables and tofu based preparations. Being an Indian, I am used to a particular pallette of spices. This was a wonderful experience. I love the ambient lighting inside the restaurant. Our taste buds were triggered with an eclectic mix of flavors. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to a strict vegan, a seasoned vegan and a starting vegans. A must visit in Montevideo. The price is neither too expensive nor is it cheap.

We went to Casa Bruja with non vegan friends and they all loved it. The place is cozy and staff is lovely. Drinks are great and the food is delicious. Big portions, fresh and tasty! Highly recommended!

Must visit vegan bar - Edit
One of my favorite vegan places and bar that just opened last July. Has a short menu but everything is amazing. From the falafel to the shared platter and specially the “champi” potatoes which is a nice vegan adaptation of a local dish. Staff is super nice and welcoming!

Restobar vegano que abrió sus puertas en julio de este año. Cuando fui comí la picada clásica con cuatro dips, uno de berenjena, de remolacha, mayonesa vegan y otra que es medio picante. Acompañados de pan casero, grisines y crackers. La picada venía con otro bowl con frutos secos, nueces, Almendras, semillas de zapallo y girasol. En otra fuente traía una ensalada de hojas verdes, cherrys y olivas negras. Súper completa! Por otro lado recomiendo las papas con salsa champ, muy buenas! De postre comí un cheesecake que estaba delicioso!! Para tomar, ademas de tragos ofrecen bebidas sin alcohol y cervezas artesanales.
