Delicious vegan options - Edit
We had a great dinner at Casa Azul. We had 6 in our party - 3 vegans, 2 vegetarians and 1 omnivore. We all had terrific meals. They have a separate vegan menu with lots of choices. I had the vegan bowl with crispy tofu, hubby had the Jackfruit Tinga Crunchy Tacos. Both were delicious. The staff was all very friendly and efficient. We’ll be back!

Such a great selection of vegan options! The food is tasty and there’s good customer service. While they have a decent selection of vegan options, I encourage them to expand their menu even more because I have a feeling i’m gonna be there all the time 😂

This place is very well taken care of. The server was friendly and accommodating. The food was really good and reasonably priced. Definitely worth checking out especially with your Omni family and friends.

Best Vegan Mexican in Providence - Edit
I would give this place five stars if I could but happy cow won't let me give more than four because they are not fully vegetarian or vegan. This place has the best Mexican food in Providence and Rhode Island that I found. They have authentic mexican tacos, burritos, gorditas, nachos, plantains, beer and other fun drinks. The staff is extremely nice and speaks both English and Spanish fluently. They have a full vegan menu alongside the non vegan menu and are super knowledgeable about the vegan menu items. I went with my wife on a Saturday night and there was a short 10 minute wait for a table. This place is clearly very popular. It was worth the wait. I can't wait to go back!

I am extremely judgemental of mexican restaurants, cause I am so often left dissatisfied with food that lacks any flavor and portions which are sinoly excessive. I was please to find that my vegan quesadilla with vegan meat had plenty of flavor and the portions were reasonable. I ordered a side of rice, black beans, and guacamole which were all came together for a phenomenal meal. I appreciated that my to-go bag contained both green and red hot sauce without me having to ask for it.

Adorable and authentic taqueria! We had the providence vegan restaurant week 3 course special: taquitos Dorados filled with potato and vegan chorizo with a side of coconut cream and salsa, Mexican style poblano zucchini w/ pan seared tofu, vegan Mexican rice pudding, and a vegan horchata. We will definitely be back!
