The earl gray donut is everything - Edit
I have the biggest sweet tooth of anyone I know… and I’m very judgemental when it comes to donuts because I’m use to my spot in Brooklyn. But this beautiful and tasty donut did the trick. I paired my donut with an oat cap.

What!! - Edit
We walked in not knowing if they had any vegan donuts, and saw none labeled in the case. Turns out they were almost ALL vegan! Only one was not and it was clearly labeled. So delicious.

Would give 5 stars if I could - Edit
Best donuts I’ve ever had. Found out about this place from a couple of vegan YouTuber bloggers and was so excited to find out it was a short walk from where we were staying. We stopped there twice during our visit. The donuts are so deliciously soft and not overly sweet. All flavors are present and not just fried sugar like some donuts can be. My non vegan husband agreed these are the best donuts he has ever had. Idk how often I’ll get to visit Vancouver but we will definitely come back every time we do!

So good - Edit
Update Aug 26:
Read moreAll donuts in the display were vegan except for the Earl Grey. Ordered an oat milk latte (they use Oatly). Donut was great but unfortunately the service was lacking this visit due to unfriendly front staff.
Cartems have mastered the vegan donut. They have multiple vegan options to choose from and the donuts are always fresh. Wish they offered a vegan filled donut... they may, but I’ve never seen one on my visits.

Pros: Plenty of vegan flavours, Friendly staff, Nice restaurant
Cons: Need filled vegan options - apple, custard, etc

Hi! While we don't always have a vegan stuffed donut, we have one every second month! We have a rotating flavour, which alternates between a vegan option and non-vegan. Feel free to check out our Instagram to see when these flavours are announced!

Don’t believe the bio, the vegan doughnut isn’t a feature doughnut, almost the entire case is vegan (except for the London fog doughnut)

Note: I had these donuts pre Covid, back in November of 2019 and I just randomly thought about them and realized I never did a Happy Cow. This review if for a visit from a few years ago.
Read moreThese were some of the first vegan donuts I had ever had, and I remember very clearly liking them, but not loving them. These were a pretty decent walk from our hotel, and I remember thinking that it wasn’t worth dealing with my tired and grumpy family members. The shop was very cute, and there were many options. I do remember the shop being busy, and the person behind the counter was a little impatient since I was new to the vegan scene and wanted to verify what was and what was not vegan. However, the donuts were pretty good, a little dry but since I am not a huge donut fan to begin, I always take my opinions with a grain of salt.
Overall, I haven’t been able to visit Vancouver since this visit due to Covid, but I am looking forward to trying these again because so much time as passed since then and I have more to compare them to as a older vegan.
Pros: lots of vegan options , cute shop
Cons: expensive

quite nice - Edit
The donut I ordered was really sweet. It was a bit too much for me, even for a caramel one. It was expensive especially for how small it was. I was able to bring my own container, which is super great! I was happy to try it, but I would not go back.

I had the chocolate dipped donut - it was great! I was there on a Friday at 1:00pm and they only had 5 flavours left and I believe their hours were extended until 9:00pm which is unfortunate. Happy with the number of vegan options and can’t wait to try something more adventurous!

It's different, worth a try! - Edit
Had the double chocolate vegan doughnut, it was interesting. The ones we had were not puffy and round like your typical doughnut.
Read moreThe texture was like a soft moist light fudge, not as chocolatey as I would have liked, it was a gentle chocolate experience rather than a rich one.
Not sweet enough to call it sinful, which means I would have like to have tried more. The rest of the other doughnuts were for work colleagues.
Went back there yesterday to see what else they got, only 4 doughnuts left at around 3pm, so if you want to try, go there early and see what you can nab!

The best donuts - Edit
Just the best donuts. They're doing it well too, not clearly advertising what's vegan so that strict non-vegans buy them anyways. Kudos! Fooled all my coworkers. Try the filled donuts when they have vegan ones, delicious!

Reminds me of puffin’ fresh donuts in Oz - Edit
The donuts have a really nice and doughy texture, and are so soft as you take a bite! They weren’t overly sweet, so were well balanced and were a decent size too. They had lots of vegan options, though these were not all marked and we had to ask a staff member to advise us which ones were. They also make a good coffee!
