Cartems Donuterie - Kitsilano

There have been some rumblings in the vegan community that aren't in favour of cartems donuts. I decided to see for myself how the service and the product was. I went on my birthday (Halloween) and I ordered half a dozen (all vegan) and they gave me a free donut as well. I had to share them with a few of my friends, they really blew me away. The Kitsilano location is so close to my house, I will for sure be going back.

I'm glad I discovered this place! I wish I had discovered it sooner. I was staying near by and had been going to their other location on Main st. Had I know these guys were here, I would have been here every morning. Just like the other one, big open space, nice neighbourhood to walk around in, and helpful staff!

Just as the other 2 locations of Cartems, this one has the same selection and helpful staff.
They have coffee and ice cream from Vancouver businesses as well. Way to keep it local!
The location is larger than the others, has a communal table as well, and the staff is very knowledgeable on vegan items just like in the other locations.
Careful though, they don't bake the donuts at that location, so they are likely to run out by late afternoon unless they get more than one delivery a day. Anyway, several vegan options, and the gluten free donut is always vegan, then the frosting is pretty much always vegan too. Nice location for a chat with friends.
