Best vegan donut I ever ate! - Edit
Very fluffy and super yum donuts! Had the vanilla one and the one with rum flavour. Both were incredibly good and I wish I would have a place with such amazing donuts in the Netherlands.

They have a nice selection of GF vegan doughnuts, but I found some of them to be really moist almost like a cake. Wasn't really what I was looking for in a doughnut, but appreciate the selection. The classic vanilla was really good though.

Coffee and Donuts... the perfect pairing - Edit
I had a great time at Cartems! They have almond milk for their coffees and the latte I had was delish! I enjoyed the vanilla bean donut and my friend got chocolate! SO YUMMY! The baristas were very nice and attentive. They have WiFi and plenty of seating indoors and out! I really enjoyed Cartems.

If you're in the mood for a sweet treat, Cartems is definitely the place to go! This particular location is a great, airy spot to hang out or do some work. It has a large communal table and a lot of smaller cafe style tables. Did I mention that their donuts are divine?! They have a large variety of both cake and yeast donuts, with a great vegan and gluten-free selection. My absolute go-to is the chocolate glaze, but they have some wild seasonal flavours that won't disappoint in the least!

Cartems has multiple flavours of both vegan cake and yeast donuts, as well as the standard hot and cold drinks you'd want to accompany it. They need a punch card system so regulars could earn free donuts!

There have been some rumblings in the vegan community that aren't in favour of cartems donuts. I decided to see for myself how the service and the product was. I went on my birthday (Halloween) and I ordered half a dozen (all vegan) and they gave me a free donut as well. I had to share them with a few of my friends, they really blew me away. The Kitsilano location is so close to my house, I will for sure be going back.

I'm glad I discovered this place! I wish I had discovered it sooner. I was staying near by and had been going to their other location on Main st. Had I know these guys were here, I would have been here every morning. Just like the other one, big open space, nice neighbourhood to walk around in, and helpful staff!
