Enjoyed my veg breakfast! - Edit
I really loved my autumn latte (veganized it with oat milk), a vegan burrito, and the berry pastry.

Good in a pinch - Edit
There aren’t a lot of vegan option in the Phoenix aiport, so a burrito like this is good in a pinch.

Very tasty - Edit
This was the hippest joint that I have ever seen in an airport. The potato/poblano burrito was super delicious. I loved it. The Americano was very strong. Across from gate C12.

A go-to favorite - Edit
Lots of vegan baked goods - the vegan pop tart is my favorite. Get the poblano potato breakfast burrito if you have 10 minutes to spare.

Amazing vegan options!! - Edit
I absolutely loved this coffee shop at the airport! The poblano potato burrito is absolutely amazing - you must get this. I also had the vegan banana bread which was declious along with an oat milk chai latte (verified no honey in the liquid). Staff were super friendly too. Best airport food in a very very long time - worth the walk from other gate areas!!! Also cool merchandise and coffee beans.

Tasty vegan baked goods! - Edit
Was panicking a little after my flight got delayed 7h (do not fly in early/mid 2025) and scrambled to find vegan food before the few places closed. Sir Vesa's (next door) had just closed so I checked this place out of desperation. I was pleasantly surprised that they have vegan banana bread and a vegan caramel date cake donut! Both were delicious, especially the latter. Unsure about vegan drink options.

Pretty good burrito! - Edit
Poblano and potato burrito is pretty good! Iced americano is just OK. Service was also good! Friendly staff. I didn’t see any vegan pastries or anything, but I also didn’t look that hard.

Best airport coffee shop - Edit
FIVE STARS!! Cartel Coffee is a MUST. I walked from another section of the terminal immediately after landing to ensure I’d have time to visit.
Read moreThis is what I call a “hipster” coffee shop - with alt milks, pastries and actual good coffee. And this is one of the only hipster coffee shops I’ve seen at airports.
The vegan burrito is pretty solid, I’d totally get it again! Came with a yummy sauce.
But the money is in the coffee/matcha - with quality that is hard to find at any airport coffee shop. They offer speciality coffee like any hip coffee shop, aside from the basics. Plus they’ve got vegan things that most coffee shops don’t have, like coconut cream, vegan caramel, etc etc.
I also got the strawberry shortcake vegan donut, which is easily in my top 3 favorite donuts of all time. OF ALL TIME. And I’ve had a LOT of vegan donuts. Whoever they source it from KNOWS how to bake.
Get the strawberry shortcake donut and ANY of their coffees!!! I will happily stop in phoenix anytime for this!
Pros: Coffee + pastries + food, Ambiance

Poblano potato burrito 5 stars - Edit
I fly thru PHX a lot. Goodbye white rice at pei wei. The poblano potato burrito is high end food. Also contains white beans and corn plus salsa. The poptart takes it across the finish line. Budget 15-20 for the burrito to cook. Worth the wait. Also, mostly served in paper, not a giant plastic pod.

Best airport burrito I’ve had - Edit
Cool coffee shop near C13. Good coffee and the best potato and poblano burrito I’ve had. It takes a bit to make, but it’s fresh and heated thru with a panini press. Served with red and green salsa.

Solid Vegan Breakfast Options at Sky Harbor. - Edit
Have had both the Mi Salsa Potato and Poblano Burrito and the Overnight Oats and both are great. The burrito has potatoes, beans, corn, poblano chile and some kale. Good flavors. The burrito is warmed on a panini press so the tortilla gets a nice crunch. They forgot to give me the salsa, which I am sure would add another dimension.

I have been here numerous times. The only issue is you are subject to availability— I have been there often where one or the other (or both) are not available.
Great coffee too!
