Carrot's Wholefood

Fantastic wholefood shop with veggie restaurant above. I live in a vegan-friendly city and I can't get some of the delicious vegan food they sell here at home! Stockist of a variety of vegan cheeses and ice creams, Clive's pies, organic veggies, suma wholefoods, and more.

Carrot's is a great little place to find specialist veggie and vegan foods that you would normally easily be able to get in a city or online, but not so much in a small town like Thurso - so a very welcome addition to the area. Also a great place to pick up organic veggies and veggie/vegan dog and cat food and treats. Items are rather expensive however as opposed to Holland and Barrett's for example but hopefully as the business progresses and if the restaurant gets up and running, prices will start to fall which will of course encourage more people to try vegan foods.

At long last there is a place you can go to in Caithness, to get all your daily provisions. For years I have struggled to get the food I need for day to day living, Carrots in Thurso, is 100% vegetarian, it makes your mouth water as you look around. Better still they are planning to open a 100% Vegetarian cafe/restaurant later this year, once their shop has had structural work done to it. Can't wait.
