Surprising pocket of vegan-friendly loveliness - Edit
I really wasn't expecting many vegan options when we visited the quiet village of Echternach, gateway to the Mullerthal national park. What a gem, then, was Carli's! Between 1/3 an 1/2 of the menu is vegan (including buckwheat pancakes!) and the dishes are imaginative (nasi goreng, anyone?) and clearly signed on the menu. The staff are knowledgeable about what constitutes vegan ingredients. SEVERAL vegan cakes and cookies, and a good range of alternative milks.

Good coffee and labeled vegan options in every category. Friendly service. Gluten free options clearly labeled too. Perfect place for breakfast. I had the gluten free pancakes and chia pudding and it was so good. A really good combo too, and very pretty plates.

I love Carli's Coffee. Their coffee drinks, matcha, protein smoothies, and pancakes are delicious. They also often have a vegan pastry option in the case.

Cosy café with lots of vegan options and many options that can be made vegan. The avocado toast on fresh sourdough bread was delicious, as was the cinnamon bun, which was still warm. The staff were also very friendly.

A really nice cafe with vegan & gluten free pancakes. Unfortunately only one option but nevertheless this one is nice! They also had 3 different vegan cakes, I tried one and it was delicious! Plant milk is available, unfortunaly 30 cents extra. They also have a vegan bagel and toast I think. Overall nice pricing. Good atmosphere and nice waitresses. We are going back!

I only discovered this cosy little place on the day I left the region, otherwise I would have surely taken my breakfast there everyday. Loved it. I had the vegan & glutenfree buckwheat pancakes, which were really good.

In case your eyes are bigger then your stomach, they will happily make a doggy bag for you.

Good coffee and easy to make things vegan - Edit
I loved the coffee and they had very obvious vegan stamps on the vegan dishes. I got the vegan pancakes, which were buckwheat and I didnt like them that much. Would have rather wanted normal ones with wheat.

Even if the place is a little far from the city center, it’s really nice to find out they offer vegan options and from time to time even have a full vegan brunch too.

Also the side dishes to share for two were in my opinion in terms of quantity a bit too little.
But the place is lovely, the staff very kind and they also expose local products to buy.

I liked the location very much: very cozy, the music not too loud and decorated with a lot of taste. I tryed the avocado toast (with beautiful eatable decoration) and the pancakes with maple syrup, both was very delicious. Also the coffee and the fresh made juice was very tasty! I tried also their homemade cookies, my favorite one was whith marshmellos ☺️ This place is excellent for everybody!

The menu has a couple vegan options. I had the budha bowl which was simple but tastefull. My husband tries the pancakes and had a smoothie with pea protein which where bood really tasty. Some items you can order half a serving so you can try multiple items.

The quinoa bowl is excellent (with smoked tofu, edamame & hummus).
Read morePlant milk (oat, soy) is available for coffee and tea.
There are several other vegan options available for lunch or brunch (weekend) and we've always seen at least one vegan cake at the counter during our visits.
Even though Carli's Coffee is not fully vegan, this is the best place in town for vegans. Would give 5 stars (not possible as it is not veg only).
