Carlingford Vegetarian Cuisine

I was disappointed with the vegan yum char I had somewhere so I didnt have much expectations but this place is just great!!! Everything We ordered was tasty!

Spacious restaurant with comprehensive menu. The flavour of the dishes I had was nice and subtle, not overpowered by salt or chilli.

My only suggestion for improvement is the steamed rice. The flavour and texture was not as nice as rice from most restaurants I've visited in China.

Good Chinese / Asian fare. I was told all the menu items except the desserts were vegan. A bit pricey compared to competitors - around $17-18 per main item - but it's a nice space and clean looking place unlike many others.

If you are after a Chinese meal in this part of town then I recommend.

Great place, I've been going there at least once a month for quite some time now.
The servings are of a reasonable size and most meals are very yummy (I didn't like the hot pot or the shredded not-beef much).
The satay not-chicken, the Mongolian not-lamb and the sweet and sour not-pork are some of our favourites.
If they don't have exactly what you want, you can ask them to make it for you.

I visit here for yum cha at least once a month. You tick the boxes on an order form rather than the traditional roaming yum cha. The food is delicious and the restaurant is bright and clean. We usually spend around $50 for 2 adults on yum cha. They have high chairs and my toddler loves the food too. Service is typical not super friendly, but the delicious food more than makes up for it.

I wish I had gone with a big group, as there were a lot of dishes that I wanted to try! Will definitely be back!
