Very average

I called here at around 9pm so I was happy to still be served. I took my food home otherwise I would have taken my pucca pie back. The steak and kidney pie was most definitely off, it smelt and tasted bad. The curry sauce was powerdery but the sausage and chips were OK. It didn't seem very good value for money either.
I wouldn't go there again sadly.

Yummy

Great vegan options I was spoilt for choice!! It was delicious the grease did get to me a little but more the volume of food I ate in one go 😂

Pros: So much choice for vegans , Portion sizes are huge! , Cheap

Cons: A little heavy on the grease but still yum 😋

Great tofish!!!!

Really great food, cheap! I loved the tofish and my partner loved the banana blossom.

Good vegan range

There were a good range of vegan options. The vegan fish and chips were ok but they had missed things off our order.

Vegan chippy

Although not solely a vegan chippy they do have so many amazing choices. I love the kebab meat and the deep fried cream egg (vegan of course!)

Amazing and delicious vegan options

I've ordered from here several times in the past year and each time I have been pleasantly surprised. The chips are cooked perfectly and taste fantastic, the menu contains vegan burgers, fish, sausages, nuggets various sides and deserts. The menu appears to have been revamped for Veganuary 2021 with some incredible additions such as fully vegan donner meat (SO GOOD), meatballs, creme eggs, cakes and various fritters.

Pros: LOADS of great and diverse vegan options

Cons: Parking can be a tough at busy times

Wonderful vegan options!

Felt well and truly catered for the first time ever at a chippy! Friendly staff and a great vegan menu with lots of options. We tried the banana blossom fish and tofish (homemade vegan tartar sauce was a bonus!) plus the vegan curry sauce on chips. It was all really good, and the churros for dessert were an extra treat. Great find when visiting a friend, otherwise would be back regularly.

Pros: Generous portions , Friendly staff, Good value for money

AMAZING VEGAN MENU

So pleased we found this little gem. It has a huge vegan menu - burgers, battered sausages, meatballs, tofish and even a range of desserts. The battered Vego bar is a must!!!

First time trying Vegan Fish and Chips! Loved it!

We tried the tofu fish and banana blossom fish and each had their pluses, the best thing for me was the vegan tartar sauce- HIGHLY recommend this, big pot for a £1- you can't go wrong. Lovely place, good staff and SO many vegan options!! they serve meat but its in a seperate fryer and warmer- i think they are really trying!😄there are vegan nuggets, burgers and all sorts! Highly recommend a visit!

Pros: LOADS of options, THE TARTARE SAUCE!, Quick service

Cons: serves meat (sorry, but!!!)

Fantastic vegan options!

This chippy is ahead of its time for Lincoln. The vegan menu has a selection of chip shop classics, veganised. Think tofish, banana blossom "fish", vegan scampi, curry sauce, tartare sauce, onion rings, fritters etc. All cooked in a separate fryer.

It's a bit of a walk from town but well worth it! Fantastic choice.

Pros: Plenty of options , Cooked separately to non vegan items , Inexpensive

Cons: It's about a mile from the train station

Great food!

Honestly this is some of the best vegan ‘fish’ and chips I’ve tried. Well done carholme chippy! Only ever found banana blossom ‘fish’ in London previously. This place totally rocks. 🤘🏻
