Great food bad service - Edit

There are some innovative and delicious vegan dishes here. I have been for brunch many times. The food is always 5 stars the service is always 1. If you love good Mexican food and have a lot of patience I totally recommend this place

I’ve been several times, and it doesn’t disappoint. Highlight is definitely the Tofu Fajitas, because they come out sizzling and saucy just like non-vegan options do. Lots of vegan options, and the outdoor seating area has warm heaters.

Good food - bad service - Edit

I really enjoyed the tamales that I had and my boyfriend enjoyed the sopes. However our server was not interested in serving us which ruined the experience. The portions are small for the price and there are not any options for sides that looked to be vegan. The chips are fried with non vegan items which is a no no for us.

I would love to love this place but tried it three times and not impressed. - Edit

Inside is dark and crowded. Outdoor tables crammed together, no green plants to look at. Food is ok but not worth the price. Ambiance is thumbs down. #Veganuary

Guacamole was delicious, but it was topped with previously frozen pomegranate seeds. Enchiladas were stuffed with green beans and carrots that tasted previously frozen and topped with chopped iceberg lettuce and red onion. Tamales stuffed with white corn.

Pros: Several vegan options. , Friendly staff.

Cons: Mediocre food. , Exposed nails on underside of table top.

Vegan deliciousness - Edit

After challenging a few restaurants to add vegan options to their menu Capullo Cocina Mexicana stepped up to the plate! They created a few dishes to get onto the menu right away and are working on adding more to the menu in the new year. Their staff is friendly and it’s all family run! They just got their liquor license so will soon have a full bar!
It’s refreshing to see chefs not only put vegan options on their menu but put love into the food they’ve created. We can’t wait to go back!

Pros: Flavorful food , Very friendly staff, Big TV for sports
