According to web searches, their bread contains dairy. When you call to ask about their bread, none of the employees know anything, but a simple Google search shows that they use bread with dairy in it making no sandwich potentially vegan lame.

Pros: Have veggie turkey, Have impossible meat,

Cons: Not vegan, Not Compassionate , Not cool

best vegan sandwich ever in a non vegan place - Edit

impossible steak and cheese sandwich but you need to ask for no cheese and no mayo... ask for mustard, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle too... damn delicious, every last bite. highly recommend.

Pros: can veganize, outstanding taste

Cons: have to be very clear, expensive for the size

Hi. I called and spoke to someone at Capriotti's and was told the bread is not vegan. So even though they have the Impossible burger, the bread has milk in it. So there is nothing here you can get vegan.

Cons: No vegan options, No vegan bread, No vegan mayo or cheese

Great Vegetarian Options. - Edit

I wandered into this sandwich shop Sunday afternoon. The lady manning the cash register was super friendly. She answered my questions easily on how to make their vege option subs vegan.

Oh my gosh! This sub was huge (I ordered the med) two meals. I also ordered it with all the vege options. It was so tasty.

Stop in if you are in the area.

Tasty veggie-burgers! - Edit

This Capriotti's has the best veggie-burgers around! I order mine with all of the usual fixings plus grilled mushrooms and sweet and spicy peppers. The veggie cheesesteaks there are great too. Haven't tried the veggie turkey yet, but will check that one out soon. Bonus: Fresh-baked cookies for dessert!
