5 star!!! - Edit
Ran by the owner who welcomed us like family and explained the vegan options (think there were 5 different vegan mains today, and all sounded appetising). The two of us had a delicious main meal and desserts. The vegan lemon mousse was divine, and the vegan Portuguese tart was *to die for* -- please do not leave Sesimbra without trying it from Regina's!
Read moreThe cafe is a very casual canteen style, but it can cater both for a quick coffee and cake or a full lunch or early dinner.
Wholeheartedly recommend.

Flavorful food - Edit
We ordered the two available vegan options which were a burger plate and a Brazilian bean dish. Both were very flavorful, the burger plate came with a few different items like broccoli puree and cooked cabbage which we really liked. The woman working was very friendly. Unfortunately they were all out of the vegan dessert options so we didn't get to try them. For the two dishes and two juices the price came out to €22 which wasn't bad since it's right by the beach.

Real gem of Sesimbra - Edit
Unfortunately I can't add 5 stars as the restaurant is not vegan. Don't let that turn you away tho.
Read morePlenty of vegan options and the food is heavenly. That includes vegan pastries like pasteis de nata, all made by Regina herself with love. Not only a wonderful human but a great chef! Everything we tried was so tasty and filling. Portuguese home cooked dishes with her special twists that make even the simplest dishes extraordinary. Regina makes sure you are happy and goes over and beyond with her food and service. You can even pre-order some special vegan options, like lasagna or vegan versions of Portuguese dishes, she'll be more than happy to make.
Do yourself a favour, do not miss out on this place while in Sesimbra. You will be returning here every day!

Regina is a very talented and friendly chef who welcomed us at the door of her little corner ("cantinho"). Her vegan beans dish had a very generous portion full of flavour and she particularly told us that she loves using different kinds of mushrooms in her cookings. So now, guess what else besides orange the cake she created had 😉 An amazingly delicious creation that was!
