Serves meat, vegan options available. Offers some lacto-vegetarian dishes including burritos, enchiladas, chimichangas, fajitas, and a bean burger. Some items can be made vegan upon request. Reported closed, Oct 2018.
Husband and I found this place on our first night in Granada after arriving late one evening. English and Spanish menu, plenty of vegetarian options and good serving sizes. Food was reasonably good with plenty of veggies.
Vegetarian options in southern Spain aren't the greatest (it may be a few years before I can look another potato omelet in the eye) and good Mexican food -- a staple of California existence -- is a refreshing rarity in this otherwise cosmpolitan city. It was so good that we came here twice, and were not disappointed with anything we ordered. Dishes come adorned with extras -- beans, pico de gallo, salad, rice -- and the service both times was friendly and prompt.
Both times, we were among only a handful of customers, but each time one of the other customers was smoking. The smoke, not the food, was my only problem with this restaurant, but what can you do?
Moderate prices, authentic decor, and an accommodating staff combine to make this one of the better veg dining experiences in the Andalucian region.
We ate here twice because we enjoyed it so much the first time. The servers were friendly, and the food, while not quite authentic Mexican fare, was very tasty, using some unexpected vegetables and bean sprouts. In a country where it can be hard to find much vegetarian food, this was our comfort spot.
