Good selection - Edit
See also Veg Box Cafe, which is upstairs.
"Since mid-1970s, range of organically produced foods, lots of Fairtrade products and as much local produce as we can. No fish, meat or associated by-products, no genetically modified foods and no products that have been tested on animals."
Good selection of fresh and prepared food, including packaged bulk items, also treats and snacks, organic beers and wines, body care products, etc.
Pros: good selection, open every day, vegan beers and wines
Cons: not much fresh produce

Great shop. - Edit
When we were there a sign said that the cafe was closed on Mondays unfortunately, so we couldn't try any of the food there but we did do some shopping and were very happy about the widce range of products the had. From different types of raw chocolate to fresh local veggies, soap, tea, socks, anything ;)
The staff was very friendly indeed and one of the other reviewers is right - a very hippie-like atmosphere. Just the way a shop should be like.

Nice! - Edit
Got there 15mins before closing time, but they still accommodated us. The place has a hippie feeling to it and is a nice place if you have small children. There were plenty of choices on the board and our food was very tasty too. They did bring us some butter when we asked if everyting was clearly vegan, but they were very apologetic about it and replaced it with vegan marge. Food tasty, staff very nice & helpful, would definetely good back again!
Pros: Choice of Vegan Food, Central Location, Cheap & friendly staff
Cons: Double check ingredients if vegan

Vegantastic. - Edit
Really nice place with a good varied menu containing both vegetarian and vegan choices. They had a christmas dinner on the menu when I was in, but I went for the bean burger with chili jam instead. It was delicious. Definately recommend this place.
Pros: Great food, Friendly staff, Varied menu
Cons: Little expensive
