what's not to love? - Edit
can't fault this place... all the food/drink is vegan, the menu has unique seasonal drinks you won't find anywhere else, and I absolutely love that they are cat themed like the paw art on the latte. the decor and artwork in the cafe is also absolutely lovely and cozy, and you know what? I'm jealous of the cats; its such a relaxing and loving environment, there are plenty of places for them to climb and hide and snuggle up, they are living the dream life for real lol. unfortunately I live up north but I really hope I can come back some day!

Really friendly staff and of course lots of lovely cats. Love that the menu is vegan and had seasonal spooky options. Enjoyed a dirty chai latte and scone!

Great experience - Edit
Really enjoyed my visit here as I was lucky enough to have a cat on my lap for half an hour. Tried the blueberry Bakewell slice and it was nice. Two teas and a cake for a tenner is fair enough. One star less because there was a strong smell of cat wee and most cats were asleep for the duration of the visit.

Cat cafe - Edit
The entire menu here is plant based, very big list of different teas and drinks. Food menu isn’t massive, but the cafe is more about the experience anyway. All the cats are rescues, the staff are very vigilant to make sure they are happy and that the guests don’t bother them.

Wonderful place with delicious food! - Edit
We love cats so we’re very excited to visit the UK’s only fully vegan cat cafe!
Read moreThe cafe is spread across two floors (with another two that only the cats can access if they want time away from the guests!) We were seated on the ground floor but were told we were welcome to roam across both floors interacting with the cats. They have 28 cats in residence and we met quite a few of them! They are resident cats (not rescues to be rehomed like many other cat cafes) and I was struck by how relaxed the cats were. They clearly are treated very well and feel very safe as most of them are very happy being stroked and fussed over. Some of them even climbed onto our laps and those of other customers.
We booked for two hours as we felt an hour would be too short. I think an hour would be fine if you just wanted a drink and to meet the cats but we wanted to properly relax and have a bite to eat, so 2 hours worked well for us.
The menu was extensive with savoury and sweet foods and lots of soft drinks & hot drinks too. Food-wise we went for a Sausage Roll, Panini, Fruit Scone and Blueberry Bakewell, and then we got a Vanilla Earl Grey and Gingerbread Hot Chocolate (a festival special) to drink.
The food was very tasty! The highlight was the Blueberry Bakewell which was dense, moist and had a delicious flavour. The Fruit Scone was also very tasty and came with cream and jam. When ordering a Panini you get to pick two fillings (we went for bacon and Mozzarella) and again this was very tasty! It also came with some moreish crackers (you can have coleslaw instead) and a dipping sauce (we chose BBQ).
I really enjoyed my Vanilla Earl Grey, I felt the vanilla really complemented the flavour. My wife also loved her Gingerbread Hot Chocolate!
This is a wonderful place and I would highly recommend a visit!
Pros: Lots of cats!, Delicious food, Lovely staff

Great food and drinks, very cute cats, busy during the day on the weekend. Didn’t like the 1 hour time limit that we had 🥲

Amazing experience - Edit
Already been twice and ready to go again! It’s a beautiful cafe and you can really feel the love and respect for the cats in the environment. The cats have space to be on their own upstairs and choose when to interact with customers. The food is so yummy and the staff are amazing. Really recommend.

Very fun - Edit
Went to the cat cafe in town as it has just opened and it was so nice! Everything food and drink wise is vegan, and the cats are very funny and friendly. Staff are lovely and helped us out as we’d made a mistake with our booking oops. Booking in advance is necessary

Wonderful vegan cat experience - Edit
Delightful café adjacent to the cathedral. Fully vegan with a nice café style menu that it was so nice not to have to scroll through to find what you can eat! The scone and cream was particularly delicious! The staff are all vegan and cat lovers, and can tell you all about the cats. The cats are free roaming so if you’re not a cat lover this isn’t for you but if you are, be prepared to share! Booking is required so that it doesn’t get too crowded and stressful for the cats, although they can escape upstairs any time they want. It’s worth popping in without booking in case they have free spaces though.
