Serves meat, vegan options available. Parisian style cafe in the Cannon Beach Hotel. Offers choices in vegan sandwiches as well cupcake flavors (sells out early). Closed Sep 2019.
Went here to sit on the patio with our dogs. They said patio was closed due to only one chef. Which doesn't make sense. Little guy with patchy facial hair, glasses, and a fake French accent said no to a Togo order as well to make our moment even more lovely. Maybe it was my vegan tattoo. Anyways very rude and wouldn't even serve us. Guess you don't get my money. Seriously don't waste your time service is rude and terrible.
I had the soup du jour which is always vegan. Super yum! Also got the sweet potato burger with a side of sweet potato salad, which sounds like a lot of sweet potato but the flavors were totally different. The staff took their time to explain things to me. You can tell they really care about their food and their customer’s enjoyment. Don’t miss it!
We came to Cannon Beach Cafe wanting to try the sweet potato burger we'd heard so much about!! Unfortunately the burger is only a lunch time option and we were here for dinner so we opted for the ratatouille and it was so delicious! But a little overpriced.
We were duly impressed by the vegan offerings at this cute little Cannon Beach number. Fresh, well-presented and nicely priced lunch meals were enjoyed by all in our party. And we enjoyed the tiny little patio where we were allowed to dine with our little pup.
We started with lovely fresh-brewed iced tea. Then we enjoyed a very fresh and flavorful veg, bread and hummos plate, a very tasty sweet potato burger on fresh ciabatta, a roasted beet salad and a sizeable and varied garden salad.
Good value for the money and so delicious. We highly recommend this sweet little cafe!
Had a wonderful dinner here tonight. This is hands down the best meal I've ever eaten on the coast. A couple of vegan options, GF also. Fresh food with artistic flavor combinations. Delightful atmosphere.
