Serves meat, vegan options available. Sit-down dining Mediterranean grill restaurant where the staff is informed on vegan needs. You could ask for a vegan breakfast gyro-burrito and have a few choices on the lunch/dinner menu like hummus, falafel, stuffed peppers.

Very delicious and high quality food - Edit
Very delicious food. Well prepared and quick. I was greeted promptly and sat right away. The restaurant has plenty of seating and a nice atmosphere. Haley, my waitress was great and made sure everything was good. I ordered the portobello burger with fries along with a cup of lentil soup. Both had lots of flavor and spices. They also offer complimentary pita bread with oil and herbs. Swing by and check them out.

Tasty and good portions - Edit
Been here many times and have a good amount of options that are gf/dairy free. Hummus and eggplant dips are particularly amazing IMO. Entres are filling and decently priced. Slightly more limited with vegan but the quality of food is good. Their menu is really well marked. Cocktails are also tasty and I have never felt sick after eating here!

good portions on salads - Edit
Overall the food is good but could use more flavor. The hummus and pita is delicious. The salads are very large. I was very disappointed when I opened my falafel wrap to discover it was gyro meat!! I was shocked. Although this time I ordered to go the atmosphere of the restaurant is very nice and relaxing. The outdoor seating on the canal is lovely in the warmer months. I’m pleased to see that they mark all items clearly that are vegan and gluten-free.

Great dining experience - Edit
The ambiance & dining of aesthetic of Canal Bistro is wonderful. There's indoor & outdoor seating overlooking the rainbow bridge. The printed menu comes with clear labels of what is & is not vegan. The serving sizes or the food could be larger/more filling for the price. Still, the food was good. I couldn't follow how/why the falafel starter & the falafel salad were vegan, but the falafel wrap wasn't? Also, every 30 minutes, someone orders a Saganaki so everyone's attention is stopped / drawn to a plate of flaming cheese (it doesn't smell) so there's that. The free starter of seasoned olive oil & pita is vegan. Staff is very kind & knowledgable about what is/isn't vegan though.

Cons: Discrepancies in online menu & printed menu, Random cheese fires (see review)

Old favorite now has vegan options - Edit
Ive been eating here since before I was a vegan and have always adored their friendly customer service. I think I helped push them to add vegan options to the menu. Love this place.
