Great location, great place, great food

Really nicely located with great and affordable food options. Also nice lunch menus :). However, as I enjoyed the Canadu salad so much, I went again and got the exact same thing! I have tried some bits from my friends, however, and all dishes were really good. The second time we came the pineapple was forgotten in my salad so I got a large extra bowl. Service is always really good :)

Pros: Nice location, Cheap, Great food and choices

Good vegan and gluten free restaurant

The menu is good as it shows vegan and gluten free options. Lots of options to choose from. Dishes are big and filling but still healthy. You won't leave hungry! No pizzas which is a plus for me but just to let you know.

Pros: Gluten free

Veg But Includes Egg

Beautiful food court and good tasting food. Vegans be careful many dishes with egg and dairy. We enjoyed our dinner here.

Pros: Good tasting food, Lovely food court appeal, Close to other interesting sites

Cons: Has egg dishes

Lovely atmosphere

We had a very pleasant late lunch here. My meat eating boyfriend only had the thick chick pea soup as he'd had some 'fishy' food from the market mid morning but he said it was lovely and tasty. I had some apple croquettes to start and a tropical fruit salad afterwards. Lovely and tasty (I had without pink sauce but was offered an alternative dressing) with lots of fruit and veggies and a massive portion. We wanted a pudding but we had no room left !! We had our lunch accompanied by a pianist which was a wonderful added bonus. Very polite staff who spoke very English than me

Pros: Good value, Nice Choice, Piano playing

Unpleasant experience

I was by myself, several empty tables all the same size, I sit down at the one closer to the street to see some movement. When the waiter arrived he made me stand up and change table stating I could not sit there by myself and I had to sit at a table on the back. He did not ask me nicely if I could change, there was no reservation, simply forbid me from sitting there. Moments later a couple sat down at that table and there were no issues. Disgraceful behavior from staff and likely owner rules, as if dining alone is not boring enough, one has to sit on the back and leave the better-positioned tables (same size) for any couple turning up? They bring you packaged crackers which you will be charged for. Food was overall ok, not amazing not bad, but the overall experience was ruined, I had not eaten all day so I stayed but would definitely not return.

Cons: Unfriendly, Unwelcoming

Amazing food, great service

So many vegan options! Absolutely loved the seitan with pepper and cream sauce. Great service too, really kind waiter who adapted my seitan course with putting patatas bravas next to it!

Good seitan

I only ate here once and the seitan dish was tasty, I have to say that I preferred La Plaza a few bars up though...

Pros: all veggie or vegan , good choice

Very delicious natural food

All 3 dishes we got were very good. There were lots of choices for vegans (but limited desserts) and very nice selection of great drinks. Lovely atmosphere sitting outside and warm fire to sit by.

Pros: Lots of vegan options , Great atmosphere

Cons: Limited vegan desserts

Oasis in a land of meat & dairy

Happy Cow came up trumps. So I was in Malaga on business with a group of Omni’s and our first meal the only thing I could have was an adapted salad as there wasn’t any choice that didn’t have some form of meat or dairy on it, so when it came to our evening meal our hosts let me pick. This place came up as close by and with good reviews so we gave it a try.
I was pleased to have choice, but impressed that it was not just me that enjoyed the meal, all my omni cohorts very much enjoyed it too.

Pros: Good choice for both vegetarians and vegans, Good service

Nice service but food wasn’t great.

Felt very dated. And just didn’t taste that exciting. Also they had a live pianist which didn’t really create a very relaxed atmosphere. Also make sure you specify vegan or veggie. As they mixed up our order. But we’re super kind to replace.

Pros: One of the few sole veggie places in Malaga , Reasonably priced, Convenient location

Cons: Food was whatever, Make sure you specify vegan or veggie, Out dated menu

tourist trap

The persian rice with mushroom and tofu tasted really good, the lasagne not so good and also overpriced. They forgot to bring us ordered drink but they didnt forget to charge us for it. Also they put on the table some crackers without saying anything and then it also appeared on the bill. It felt like a trap to get more money out of us.

Vegan friendly by the square

I ate the Escolapines de seitan a la nata y pimenta verde fresca (organic weat “meat” with cream (oat or coconut) served with home fries). Very delicious! The vegan items are clearly marked on the menu, and there were several vegan main dishes to choose from (and starters and dessert!)

Pros: Lots of vegan options - clearly marked on meny, Nice staff, Nice venue by the square

Delicious!

I had the aubergine dish here with rice, vegetables, nuts, tomato sauce, salad, which was delicious! The aubergine was perfectly soft. For dessert I had the vegan brownie with chocolate sauce on top. Mmm, very chocolatey and the cake is almost like a sponge!

From the terrace you overview the Plaza, which is nice. Friendly staff and good service (but it wasn't that busy).

Pros: delicious aubergine, inexpensive, friendly staff that speaks English

Nice location but food was a bit bland

Nice and vibrant location next to the Plaza de la Merced.
They had a lot of nice options on the the menu, but unfortunately they were a bit bland (had the spagetti).
Also the staff was not very friendly, just doing what they had to do without any extra effort or a smile.

Pros: A lot of nice options

Cons: Unfriendly staff, Bland flavour

Basic at best

It is an affordable vegan friendly restaurant in a nice town square but the praise ends there. Waiter made us feel like an inconvenience, and to be fair to him, the place was completely understaffed.
Food was bland too, would it kill for some sauce, oil etc on the tables?

Pros: Nice location

Cons: Boring food, Unfriendly service

Good food

A handful of Vegan options. The restaurant was very full when we arrived and although the staff was very polite, the restaurant felt incredibly understaffed. We were told to wait although there were clearly a few tables empty. The mushroom croquetas were delicious and the risotto was good.

Pros: Lots of veggie options, Handful of Vegan options

Cons: Understaffed for peak hour

Good food and music!

I went to Cañadú for dinner and I had Spaghetti bolognese and mushroom stuffed aubergine with vegan cheese and brown rice! Both were really good! The waiter was super nice, he showed me which vegan cheese they had, and he let me add vegan pesto on top of the spaghetti when I asked for it. The icing on the cake was the live music with a pianist playing Ludovico Einaudi! Fantastic!

cheap and friendly stuff

We had patatas bravas (hot!) and the vegan burger and some ecological whine of the area. The whine was very good, the food was enough and although it is at the center (Plaza merced) we paid little. The stuff was very friendly! Recomendable
