Nice for a relaxing, vegan getaway. - Edit
I can really recommend Silver Garden. They used to have campers in which you could stay, but changed that to a wooden house.
Read moreThe house is divided into 2 separate large rooms with a shared pantry. The room was very nicely decorated and felt very cosy. There is love and attention in everything. From the delicious (vegan) breakfast to the small details. Such as thermos cups that you can borrow, so that you can take nice tea/coffee with you while walking.
You also have a beautiful panoramic view from both the sofa and the bedroom and it is centrally located on Texel, so almost everything is nearby. They have e-bikes and regular bikes to rent, so you could also use that to get around the island.
It's also nice that you can order a soup or quiche for dinner (even quite last minute) so you don't have to leave the house if you don't want to. Didn't have the soup, but the quiche was really good and original. They also offer lunch packages for on-the-go.
Seeing how being a bit remote on an island makes things always a bit more difficult for being a vegan compared to the city, it was nice to have so many options.
