Best vegan pizza in the city - Edit
Best vegan cheese in the city, and the sauce was sweet, slightly spicy and the tomatoes tasted FRESH. Would recommend this pizza over spak, over Antonio’s.

If you like beer and pizza, then you would love this place. Plenty of pizza styles and toppings to choose from. Dairy free cheese available. Tastes amazing. Great for dine in and takeout. Reasonable prices and sweet daily specials on pizzas, sides, and drinks. Friendly service. Strongly recommended.

Read moreThis place always has vegan cheese available for an up-charge. The menu has a create-your-own pizza option with vegan cheese as a premium topping. This location uses Follow Your Heart brand. The waiter told us all about how they tried a ton of brands and wouldn't serve one on their pizza until it met their standards for proper melting and flavor.
During my visit they were even kind enough to let me create my own calzone. They left out the ricotta, subbed in the cheese and veggies I wanted and recommended sauce on the side instead of in (to reduce moisture and keep it from leaking). It hadn't occurred to me to ask but the chef even left the butter and parmesan off the dough to keep it vegan. So they clearly understand vegan eating and were happy to make accommodations.
My kids loved the pineapple express and pepperoni-palooza pizzas. So this is a great place to bring omnivore friends and family too. (I like salad but it is rarely something I want to pay restaurant prices for.)
This restaurant's awards list is well documented on their website so I won't go into that (but it's crazy impressive). Pricing was good considering the quality is well above average. There are other locations but I've only been to Aspinwall. Extensive beer options available. Vibe was casual and comfortable but clean and welcoming. We saw customers of all ages here.
