False claims - Edit
On previous visits served linda McCartney vegetarian sausages and claimed these were vegan, also asked for gluten free and these same sausages were served that contain gluten. Please be wary of what they are claiming is vegan or gluten free, ask to see packaging. Also said cake was gluten free and vegan when it contained eggs.

So lovely to find a place in Rothesay that was able to accommodate a gluten free vegan. I had the vegan breakfast and it was lovely.

No vegan sausages - Edit
A friend of mine asked for vegan sausages. Caledonian said they have ones, she asked few times if they were vegan sausages they said Yes.

Welcoming and great desserts - Edit
This is a welcoming place for vegans, with always a French inspired vegan dessert as well as clearly marked savoury options on the menu. I was also grateful for their WiFi in a location with a poor mobile signal.
