A health food shop with many vegan items such as yogurts and pates, and also organic and cruelty-free toiletries. There is a small seating area where tea, coffee and cakes can be purchased and consumed. English speaking staff. Open Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:30pm, Sat 8:30am-11:30pm.

I've not tried the small cafe area, but this small shop is great – it never ceases to amaze me how much choice is packed into such a small area. It is not fully vegetarian, and vegan items are not always clearly marked (if you don't speak Czech it might be worth jotting down some key vocabulary so you can read the ingredient lists – international brands often have Czech-language stickers over the ingredients. On the plus side this was a useful challenge for me as a Czech learner!). Language issues aside, there is a good selection of things ranging from snack bars to tofu, vegan mayo, desserts, pates, gluten-free pasta, several different types of flour and even essential oils, and the staff are willing to help with finding and understanding items. Just a note on finding the place: the entrance is up the stairs and around the corner to the right.
