Gorgeous Vegan Cakes and Pastries, Amazing Coffee! - Edit
After finally visiting Frân Las, I already know I will be regularly visiting this cafe when in Llanberis! They are situated on the centre of the high street and offer food to take away, eat in, or enjoy in their outdoor seating area. I visited early in the morning and took away a Curried Cauliflower, Chickpea and Onion Bhaji Pasty, a Homemade Cinnamon Swirl, and a Triple Choc Chip Cookie. The pasty is widely stocked in cafes as a vegan option and is always delecious, and the cookie was sweet and tasty, but the star of the show was the mouthwatering Hommade Cinnamon Swirl. The swirl's pastry was heavenly, and the portion was extremely generous, and most importantly, it tasted amazing! I am gutted that I did not also get a Hommade Mocha Swirl, but now I have all the more reason to visit Frân Las again soon.
Read moreI plan to nect visit during lunchtime with the aim of taking away one of their incredible looking bagels, which they frequently post about on their Instagram page showcasing a rotation of tasty looking flavourful combinations. Frân Las is a must visit for Vegans in North Wales, but I know this cafe is also popular among non-vegans, so I'd recommend everyone go there as their delecious coffee alone is worth the trip and it is something the cafe evidently care about and take great pride in.
Pros: Wide Variety of Vegan Baked Goods, Delecious Food, Lovely Coffee, Really Nice Staff, Lots of Vegan Produce For Sale
Cons: Sometimes Only Limited Savoury Options Available

Fabulous find in a small town - Edit
It's so refreshing to come across a vegan cafe in a small town. Options in Llanberis are limited since Petes closed but Fran Las is fully vegan and ideal for a coffee stop or lunch.
Read moreThe croissants are to die for! I just hope they can change the prepacked jars of jam for a spoonful in a dish. It might make it a bit more affordable for some people.

Amazing service and food! - Edit
I had the chickpea pasty, lotus biscoff swirl and a Karma raspberry lemonade. All were absolutely delicious. The biscoff pastry was massive (I had to take half home) and maybe my favourite vegan pastry I have ever had!! The staff were so lovely and the interior of the place is also very aesthetic.

Sweet little shop! - Edit
Staff were lovely, shop was really cute and sold other vegan products like candles etc too which was a nice touch. Sadly there were no sandwiches when we went (not sure if Feb out of season?) but I had the most delicious chai latte. Also sad that they were sold out of cinnamon swirls by 1pm!!

Having spent a few days thinking North Wales was not at all vegan friendly, came to this wonderful place to have my faith restored 🙏🏼. Such lovely staff and incredible coffee and pastries. Our doggo Bruce loved being able to come in too. Would happily visit again!

We called in for breakfast. Lovely cafe all vegan friendly staff and a few large tables. Not an extensive breakfast menu so we had a cinnamon danish which was huge I took half of mine away as I could not finish it.

I died and went to heaven - cinnamon rolls! - Edit
What a gem. Stumbled in here on holiday not realising it was fully vegan, and soon had a tasty coffee and a cinnamon bun the size of my head. It was delicious and I’m heading back tomorrow for more before I leave this beautiful town.

Some of the best pastries I've had - Edit
Huge pastries that were all delicious.
Read moreAs good as, or even better than any I've had in France.
The staff were very welcoming and friendly.
It has a little shop for buying local coffee, crisps, coffee makers and other little items.
Meal wise they didn't have too many options, a soup and 2 sandwiches - I had the soup which was also delicious.
The seating is a little limited, but you can always take away and eat them with a world class view over the nearby lake.
Pros: Amazing pastries , Great coffee , Extremely welcoming and friendly

Lovely cafe in Llanberis serving coffee, tea, cakes, pastries as well as some savoury light bites (soup, sandwiches etc). The chocolate, espresso and cinnamon swirls were huge and delicious!! A great spot in a lovely high street near to Mount Snowdon.

Great sweets - Edit
Nice little cafe in beautiful Llanberis with two tables outside, offering great cakes and sweets as well as specials for coffee-fans. But the only hearty offer (not sweet) was a vegan sausage roll. Also selling some other dry sweet goods like oat chocolate with brezels, whiskey liquor chocolate,shortbread,..

Food was fantastic. To find an all vegan cafe this far out is a massive bonus. Service friendly and very quick. Unfortunately venue was a bit dirty but it was a busy morning. Also no toilets in the cafe but there are some public toilets nearby.

Caffi’r Frân - Edit
Cute little cafe in Llanberis serving 100% vegan food. Lovely selection of sweet baked goods. I got their popular cinnamon roll and thought it was delicious heated up. It was a bit sugary for me, so it’s not something I was able to eat all in one sitting. I hope to pop back over one more time before I return to London.

I absolutely didn’t expect a vegan cafe in such a small town in the conservative England. So glad that I had a look in happy cow 🥰 we had a hot chocolate, a cappuccino and a cinnamon swirl, all really good (maybe a bit too much sugar on the swirl)

I am not trying to be confrontational, I just want to draw attention to an error you have made. Llanberis is not in England but in Wales (both parts of the UK) and Llanberis and North Wales in general is not really very conservative at all, politically it is left wing voting. However, perhaps you are not talking about politics, if not politics, what do you mean by conservative?
