Well thought out - Edit
It’s not just a token vegan option to tick box the menu. It’s a well thought out, quality, filling and tasty breakfast.

You have you try the moose Larger, on tap in the summer months, it really does hit the spot.

Amazing Food in the Heart of Eryri! - Edit
Caffi Gwynant is remotely located in a beautiful former chapel. As per the advice of their website, I booked in advance to have lunch, and I had a wonderful time.
Read moreThe staff were absolutely lovely and I really loved the small interesting touches present in the building. Caffi Gwynant serve breakfast and lunch, and both menus have vegan and vegetarian options. During my visit I had an Iced Coffee with Oat Milk and the Bang Bang Tofu Tacos. The coffee was sensational, it was absolutely one of the nicest iced coffees I've ever had, and the Tacos were full of flavour. The mashed avacado and vanilla slaw were especially delicious, and the tofu was perfectly cooked and marinaded in a lovely spicy sauce. I also took a Carrot Cake away with me, and that too was lovely.
Caffi Gwynant is based at the foot of many walking trails, so during the busy season, I absolutely recommend booking. They offer drinks with soya or oat milk to take away in addition to vegan cakes and vegan sausage rolls. I advise following their FB feed as they post their frequent amendments to their opening hours on there. I will certainly be visiting again when on my next walk in the area and hope to next time make it for their Vegan Breakfast!

Shockingly good - Edit
One of the best vegan breakfasts I’ve ever had. Couldn’t get over how good it was especially considering it wasn’t a vegan establishment. Looking forward to returning. #Veganuary

Used to be great anyway, but now it’s amazing! - Edit
We’ve been coming here for maybe 20 years because it’s at the start (or end depending on which way you’re heading) of the Snowdon Watkin path. Which in my opinion is the best route in terms of scenery.
Read moreThe first time we came here a long time ago when veganism wasn’t as big a deal, the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. They made my partner a lovely hummus and onion sandwich with crisps on the side even though it wasn’t on the menu. From that time onwards, the food has just been getting better and better. Today (17.09.23) we shared an amazing cheese toasty with tasty French onion soup on the side. I also ordered a spring onion roll with salad and coleslaw. Both meals were of a standard that you would struggle to find anywhere in the area. I’m certain you won’t find any cafe, pub or restaurant in the nearby Beddgelert that can compete as I’ve already walked, cycled and driven through there numerous times this year and found nothing worth writing about.
Keep it up!
Pros: Lots of vegan options, Free Wifi, Friendly, knowledgeable staff
Cons: Bit pricey, Can get busy at weekends, Limited parking

Delicious carrot cake - Edit
Have been here a few times usually just for a slice of cake and hot drink after a walk. Lovely little place, but can get busy. Staff have always been friendly and helpful. Some tasty vegan options. I love the carrot cake and burrito bowl. They also do a decent breakfast.

Had a good burrito bowl :) - Edit
Had a really good vegan burrito bowl, there were a few other vegan options on the menu as well, it was a cute place in an old Chapel. Only major problem was that the parking - which people also use for snowdon - is almost always incredibly full, especially in summer. Pre booking advised during holidays.

Delicious! Worth a visit. - Edit
Had the vegan breakfast which was delicious. The others in our group were non vegan and also loved their breakfasts so great for mixed groups. Great coffee and fantastic service in a lovely building. They also had a number of vegan sweet treats that I definitely got to take out and were yum 😋

Helpful waiter, delicious food - Edit
We had a burrito bowl, a katsu tofu burger and chips and beans on toast for the little one (I think that was the extent of the vegan options). It was all delicious. And then we sampled the carrot cake and banana bread, both yum and I am told the cakes are baked by a vegan too so extra reassuring!
Read moreThe waiter who served us was really helpful in pointing out what was vegan on the menu (as it wasn't marked) and also told us about a vegan place in Bangor so knew his stuff.
Lovely atmosphere in an old church and great location for walks up Snowdon, etc.
