No consistent vegan food options

What the title says. There are no vegan pastries, sometimes there are vegan sandwiches available but it’s about a 1 in 3 chance they have any. There is no soup currently. Milk options include soy, oat, almond, and coconut for $.50-.75 surcharge.

It’s a good place to sit and work or study, especially during the day. I like that they’re open late. There’s a huge variety of flavor syrups to try if you’re into that. Bathrooms can be a little dicey, but are basically fine. Sometimes the music is especially weird, sometimes it’s perfectly anodyne.

Pros: Good drinks

Cons: Lack of food options

pirate themed old coffee shop

Good coffee, soy and almond milk options. All the vegan food was out by 12, so one earlier. Fun staff.

Cool and cozy

Caffetto is one of the best independent, neighborhood cafes in Minneapolis. It's cozy, but also has a hip, punker edge to it. You can always chat up the staff or just chill out and read/work on your laptop. They have a good selection of teas and other drinks, but what really makes this place stand out is its vegan baked goods, which are supplied by Hard Times Cafe. This is one of few coffee shops in the Twin-Cities that has vegan baked stuff for sale, in addition to a vegan soup and sandwiches. Hip atmosphere, friendly staff and good food make Caffetto a winner.
