One of the best Veggie Combos

The vegetable combo or platter is always great at Ethiopian restaurants. This one was even better. More protein than most offer, including 2 lentil dishes, one split pea dish, and a spicy chickpea dish that is fantastic. The service here is also great. I got the sense that they are looking for more business, and Caffe Utopia deserves it with their great food and low prices.

Would give five stars if I could!

I drove by Caffe Utopia on Christmas Eve for the first time and told myself if they were open on Christmas Day that I would be sure to place an order. Not only were they open, but I had the most positive experience I can ever remember as a vegan ordering out.

I called in to ask if it would be better to order through DoorDash or their website and was fortunate enough to speak to Rachel, who I later found out was the business owner. She was so helpful in taking my order and in reviewing my selections to confirm each of the items I was selecting was vegan... down to the wine selection, when a coworker was helping her list the available options and she jumped in to let them know the mead (honey wine) was off limits.
