Opzioni vegane e staff super disponibile - Edit
Hanno opzioni vegane sia per quanto riguarda il salato (arancini e cipolline) che per quanto riguarda il dolce (cornetti). Lo staff è molto gentile e disponibile e tutto ciò che ho mangiato da loro era ottimo.

Arancini was sold out (11am on a Sunday), they had another pastry with onion and vegan cheese filling which was alright. Soya cappuccino was fine. Italian huge digital menu without photos and no translations. Inexperienced staff.

Good vegan cipollina - Edit
They had vegan arancine and vegan cipolline. I got the latter, which I was told had the same ingredients as the traditional recipe, except there was no ham and it had soy cheese. I had never tried cipollina before, but the one I had was good.

I have been looking for a place where to eat vegan arancino and cipollina (quite hard to find) and when I was told Caffé Epoca (which I used to love) did, I went there immediately (after asking if it was true on their social media!). So I went, was given one vegan arancino and one vegan cipollina. The arancino was quite good (with soya cheese, aubergine and squash) whereas the cipollina marked as “vegan” was instead the normal one (made with butter ham cheese etc.). The waiters told me there had probably been a mistake but still… imagine my reaction when I ate it. I was so tired after 5 hours of queue to get a tampon, that I didn’t even realize it immediately! I ate half of it because I didn’t feel the taste of the ham immediately. I’m not vegan but lactose-I tolerant and had to rush home and take 4 pills hoping they’d save my stomach from the usual pain when I assume lactose (within the butter, the cheese and the ham). I had stomachache anyway.

Arancini vegani buonissimi - Edit
Abbiamo mangiato degli arancini vegani davvero molto buoni! Hanno a disposizione anche le cipolline (altro piatto tipico della rosticceria catanese) in versione vegana, che però non abbiamo assaggiato. C’è la possibilità di fare colazione con cappuccino di soia e cornetti vegani. Non metto 5 ⭐️ solo perché purtroppo abbiamo dovuto aspettare davvero tanto per gli arancini, che quindi non sono sempre disponibili. Lo staff è comunque molto cordiale.
