Serves meat, vegan options available. Cafe and gelato shop. Could get vegan antipasti and sides, including a hummus platter. The marinara sauce and the capellini pasta is vegan; all of the other pasta is made with egg. Could order a pasta dish with the capellini and omit parmesan. Pizza crust is also vegan, so cheese-less pizza is an option. Could also order 3 vegan sides in lieu of a meal (same pricing). Has vegan fruit sorbets. Reported closed January 2022.

Only one vegan gelato item (October 2021) - Edit
Not serving food at this time. Offered one vegan option of strawberry lemonade gelato, which was good.

Stopped by for lunch and they only offer two kinds of pizzas (not vegan) and coffee and pastries. Had to leave and head to another place

When I was in college I had a friend who was a chef at Caffe Dolce and he would always bring me yummy vegan food after work that wasn't on the menu. I wish they would add more vegan choices to their menu! What they have is super tasty though! Ask them to make the garlic bread vegan (it will blow your mind!).

This is an acceptable place to dine out with your sweetheart, although you'll have to get a little creative with the menu. The pizza dough and marinara are vegan, so you can make your own cheese-less pizza. The homemade pasta is NOT vegan, but you can order dry pasta with the vegan marinara. You are also allowed to combine side dishes in lieu of a menu entree. There are various vegan antipasti sides and hummus available. There are also a few vegan sorbets for dessert. Not bad, but could use some more creative Italian vegan dishes on the menu!
