small and cute - Edit
The interior looks like a comfortable living room with a bar where the food is offered, very peaceful and relaxing. It works like an all-you-can-eat restaurant the only drawback being a small choice, although, I was there after 2:00 PM and only once, so I do not want to wrong:) Still, it was very tasty and the price level (25 CHF) is quite friendly according to the Basel standard.
Pros: all you can eat, very relaxing
Cons: small choice (maybe)

Laid back and friendly - Edit
Cafebar Salon seems like a great little place. Inside, the decor is interesting, and outside there's a cool looking bird cage with a light inside to indicate the place is open.
I just sat and a had a cup of fresh mint tea so i can't comment on the food, but the atmosphere was laid back and the staff were friendly.
Pros: Friendly staff, relaxing atmosphere, unique decor

Great Place! - Edit
I've been there with my boyfriend (who is neither vegan nor vegetarian)2 weeks ago. We had wraps with garlic-mayonaise which were delicious!
I can only recommand this place to everyone who visits Basel!
Pros: Friendly staff, great foof, cozy interior

Pros: angebot, mitarbeiter, einrichtung
Cons: etwas warm drinnen, keine/sehr leise musik im hinteren raum

Awesome ! - Edit
I love that place ! Really cosy and friendly staff. Its not really a Restaurant I guess but there is some food if its not sold out. You got 3 Meals you can choose of or some desserts or sandwiches. I had a vegi Dürüm and it was really tasty ! For Dessert the cake was sold out unfortunately but i had a vegan Tiramisu which was also very good. Sometimes they got Concerts or other Events. By the way everything is vegan.
Pros: friendly staff, very good food, cosy
Cons: small place, no lunch

funky place, friendly staff but .... - Edit
needs improvement... its a baby who needs to grow. If you wants to have a lunch or to dine out... then I would advice you to go to acero (more vegan options - although only veg-friendly - than here). Staff is friendy an nice, but food is poor... its a bar with some food.
Pros: open late, friendly staff
Cons: too little options, no real kitchen

Awesome!! - Edit
Was in Basel for a few days for a meeting and looking for vegan places in the city. This place didn't disappoint! It's kind of like a lounge inside with a few bar stools. A few sodas for others like me who don't enjoy alcohol. The menu set changes quite often and unfortunately the first day I went they were sold out, but I had an awesome bagel and an amazingly good strawberry custard tart! Food is top notch, but can be a little crowded I've heard on the weekends. There is seating out back too for the warmer days-nights. Cash only. About 1 minute from the Riehenring tram stop. About 15-20 CHF for a menu set.
Pros: Delicious!, Frendly staff
