Finally, an Italian!

Very refreshing to find an Italian restaurant with vegan options as these are often few and far in-between. Enjoyed the vegan lasagna which was full of vegetables rather than the typical "fake" mince.

Hit and miss

I’ve been here three of four times for dinner and always had great service and enjoyable food, if a touch on the small side portions-wise. However, I went here for breakfast recently and had a different experience. I asked the waitress if the egg was removed from the veggie breakfast, would this make the dish vegan (not an unusual query, I’d assume, given the selection of vegan mains served in the evening). She replied “vegan or vegetarian..”, which wasn’t quite the information I was looking for, so I asked if she would be able to check for me. She returned to tell me that it would be vegan without the egg - great! The food was good, although the lack of beans was unusual for a fry up. However, when she came to clear the table she sarcastically asked “vegan enough for you?” as she took my plate. It left a sour taste in my mouth and made me feel quite unwelcome. I’ll be returning, as I’ve always had good experiences before, but just not for breakfast.

Close to Lincoln Cathedral, a little gem

Liked the taste of the food and fact you could have vegan mashed potato not just chips.

Pros: 3 vegan options on day we visited, Vegan wine available by glass or bottle, Clean and good service
