Best vegan cafe in Australia - Edit
I really think this is the best vegan cafe in Australia. I came here 2.5 years ago and it is still excellent. The menu is so creative and the baked goods are amazing. Excellent custard tart.

Don’t walk, RUN to Cafe Vie! - Edit
What can I say other than ‘wow’? We visited three times on our visit to the Sunshine Coast for breakfast and were blown away by the meals served at Cafe Vie.
Read moreWe ordered the Veggs Benedict with salmon, McNuffin, The Ribless and The Big’un breakfast. Each meal was presented beautifully and the flavour was out of this world!
Every single staff member we had the pleasure of meeting greeted us with such a friendly smile and it’s so clear that the owners, who also run an animal sanctuary, are incredibly passionate about what they do.

INCREDIBLE - Edit
Can’t rate this place highly enough 😍 The food is creative, high quality and beautifully presented. The Veggs Benedict is what dreams are made of. Seriously one of the best things I’ve eaten in ages. A mountain of cheezy tofu scramble, vegan bacon and Hollandaise sauce on a perfectly flaky toasted croissant. They’ve even mastered a vegan “poached egg”, used to top off the Ribless dish.
Read morePlus they’re an ethical vegan business who wholeheartedly care about making a difference. They also run an animal sanctuary on the side.
I wish I didn’t live so far away, can’t wait to eat my way through the whole menu 🙏🏼
Pros: the food is heavenly and lots of variety in menu, very reasonably priced, nice location in the quaint town of Buderim

I was told that Cafe Vie was amazing and I definitely was not lied to. The staff were incredibly friendly, the setting was amazing and the food was beyond what I could have expected. If Cafe Vie was not so far away for me to travel to, I would eat there every chance I could.

Detoured through Buderum today just to try out this highly rated plant based cafe and definitely wasn’t disappointed. The food was absolutely AMAZING, the staff were wonderful and they had an impressive cabinet full of decadent sweet treats. My friends were all equally impressed!

We took away some sweet treats which we’re also AMAZING! The Raw choc mint doughnut was delicious, as was the passionfruit tart 😋
Can’t wait to go back soon and try out some more dishes.

Are you sure this is vegan? - Edit
Incredible. We went here yesterday on our way back from Noosa and what a find! This place is one of the more daring vegan places around and they’ve nailed it! For a moment we had to make sure it was vegan. I ordered the “Veggs Benedict” with ‘salmon’ and my partner got “The Ribless” English muffin with braised ‘beef’ and ‘poached egg’(!!). We also got a milkshake, an apricot danish, chocolate croissant and a lemon custard tart. Everything tasted like they’d perfected it, and unlike other vegan meats we’ve had before we didn’t feel sick of the taste of it by the end of the meal. We’ve loved Cafe Vie so much we’re already planning on a trip back up there. Oh and the staff are also lovely and very friendly! Great ambiance in a beautiful spot.

The BEST vegan eatery in QLD - Edit
I’ve been vegan for 7 years now and we’ve travelled around the state eating all the vegan food the Queensland has to offer. We’ve found it. Cafe vie takes the cake. We’ve been five times now and we’re never disappointed. The breakfast is amazing, lunch is great, and the mix up the menu every year or so to keep things interesting.

Worth every star - Edit
Cafe Vie are very good at what they do. The dishes look and taste fantastic. They cater to GF and nut free diners. The staff are knowledgeable and approachable and there are signs everywhere that they've just gone the extra mile to get the little bit of detail right.
Read moreI would not deduct stars for it but:
- The green wall outside is plastic. Such a thing should not exist. Replacing plants with plastic is the opposite of what should be occurring.
- They need some solar on the roof to power some serious aircon in that place. It gets hot. Fortunately you can just sit outside anyway.
Pros: Staff, Visual presentation of food, Design of restaurant and range of offerings
Cons: The green wall is made of plastic., The inside area is far too hot

Close your eyes and think of your happy place... Now, go there! - Edit
Top-Spot. Rave Rave Rave!! Can't rave more about this five-star vegan cafe. So, I called ahead and asked if the info on their listing was accurate and to ensure no animal-abuse products were sold before I made the trip from Brisbane yesterday. No dairy milk for coffee? Not a drop! Here I come. And what a huge mistake-- it was NOT! Again, TOP-SPOT. A lovely outdoor cafe, with an amazing menu. Bowls, Curries, Gyros, Sammies, Fries, Breakfast, Koftas and What did I order? Why the coconut crusted Karaage, delightfully named: Bao Chicka Wow Wow! Goddamned. If only everything could be so satisfying! Asked if they could do me a matcha milkshake to go with it. Yeah. No worries! Wanna feel comfortable and content while eating? Go to Cafe Vie.

LOVE CAFE VIE! - Edit
Since discovering Cafe Vie, we frequently drive from Brisbane for brunch and it's well worth the drive - especially when you can go to the beach after!
Read moreThe staff are friendly, there is a comprehensive menu, as well as a lot of cabinet food with everything being vegan! Generally plenty of seating, both indoors and outdoors although it can get very busy at peak times.
We are slowly working our way through the menu and the food is always great. The only minor gripe my partner has and I think I agree, is that sometimes the food is a bit too oily. Otherwise, no complaints, we love coming here!
Pros: All vegan, Lots of choice, Friendly staff
Cons: Sometimes food is dripping with oil

Have eaten at Vie probably 15 times. Each time consistently good food good value and the service is excellent. If only some other places could learn a lesson from what is good value and excellent service. No wonder they are usually full. One of the few places in Buderim to get food Sunday afternoon.
