Good food, nice location - Edit
Super nice location and view on the church and river. Staff were friendly enough and service was prompt. The coffee was decent and the food was nice. Only got a soup but the mains others received looked large. Only disappointment was the tarte au citron- not really what we were expecting and wouldn’t get it again

Had a dinner there, and it is a very good idea to make a resrvation, as there are not so many tables inside and the place is packed. Not much chance of having a private conversation as one sits really close to other guests.
Read moreI had a raw daily menu which consisted of a spinach pie with onion sauce and it was delicious. So good that now I'm looking into buying some raw food cookbooks to make similar dishes on my own.
They also sell vegan artisan cheeses that really do look and smell like a real thing. I'd eat there again anytime.

Read moreThe food is not only tasty but is also very well presented, the variety of flavors, either raw or cooked are pleasant. The smoothies and juices are original with generous portions. The desserts are flawless, and you can pick out of three or four choices ! The menu changes regularly so you can go back every month with a new surprise to taste. Also they adjust the menu accordingly to the seasons.
Excellent place !

Loved this place. They take great care in preparing healthy wholesome vegan comfort food. Changing their menu weekly, sourcing from local organic farms, I would definitely recommend! They have raw & cooked options, smells great once you step inside, wonderful presentation and kind service!

I liked that Cafe Vert's menu was largely vegan, but the food selection was rather small. I ordered a 'pad thai' that I later realized was raw and thus didn't include noodles or taste very Thai. It was still rather good, even if it was expensive.

Cute restaurant. offered 2 options for the main dish. no proper cold drinks despite the sweltering summer heat. really fresh and tasty. but a bit pricy for what it is. not a big fan of the green bubbles drinks but thats a personal preference. really friendly staff

Nous sommes allés au café vert pour un brunch avec mon épouse enceinte de 8 mois. Le lieu est trés joli mais aussi très petit. Il nous a été proposé de nous asseoir sur les marches... Pas très confortable pour une femme enceinte et il a fallut protester vivement pour obtenir la prochaine table se libérant.

Ici jus de fruit et rosotto de brocolis très sec, aavec entrée et dessert le tout pour 20€. Très cher au regard des quantités et de la richesse des plats. Il faut vraiment aimé le cru pour s'y retrouver et ne pas s'attendre à un brunch lorsque l'on y va bruncher. C'est un repas du midi normal et pas du tout une combinaison petit déjeuner/déjeuner.
On salue malgré tout l'initiative, le côté tout biologique qui a forcement un coût et le fait d'avoir une adresse vegan friendly de plus.

El menú que tomamos fue: mi pareja, sopa y rissoto de champiñones. Ambos platos estaban riquísimos. Yo pedí el plato combinado que venía con distintas ensaladas, salsas, una especie de pudding de legumbres que estaba exquisito y distintas verduras. Estaba espectacular. Totalmente recomendable si estás en Lyon. Y vegano :)

I've been to Café Vert many times, and always loved it. They use raw, organic and seasonal products, 'cooked' in original and veryyyy tasty ways (like a savoury summer salad with strawberries on the top!). Remember to leave some space for dessert - cakes are delicious!

Happy Cow came to our rescue again - this time in Lyon, as France can be challenging for vegetarians and vegans. But this little cafe is an absolute gem - and just a short walk from the cathedral square in Vieux Lyon which offered only the usual touristy fare. There were three lunch choices - a spiced cauliflower veloute, served hot or cold, a hot dish which looked very nice, rice based with veg, and a cold dish which was a salad loaded with all sorts of different tastes and textures. It's a small place but open and airy with a few tables outside. We didn't have time or room to try the vegan cheesecake or the lemon/coco squares which both sounded delish!

Delicious fresh food on a small menu that changes everyday, everything is organic, vegan and mostly raw. Really peaceful and cozy atmosphere, probably one of the rare spot overlooking the Saône river. I would recommend to anyone!
