Amazing food and lovely location - Edit

I've been to Café Vert many times, and always loved it. They use raw, organic and seasonal products, 'cooked' in original and veryyyy tasty ways (like a savoury summer salad with strawberries on the top!). Remember to leave some space for dessert - cakes are delicious!
Staff is friendly and chilled, and the location is very picturesque, right in front of Saint Georges church in Le Vieux Lyon, Lyon's oldest district with gorgeous buildings and cobble streets...

Pros: Excellent food, vegan, raw and organic, Nice atmosphere, Gorgeous location

Cons: Terrace is a little too small

Nice place - Edit

I went there with my Boyfriend, we had the entree to share and the two options for the lunch. Everything was fresh and tasty.
The waitress was a bit busy as it was lunch time but she was really nice and explained that everything is homemade and freshly made.

All the menu is organic and vegan.

Pros: menu change every day, nice staff, outdoor seats

Cons: too small ..

Delicious freshly made lunch - Edit

Happy Cow came to our rescue again - this time in Lyon, as France can be challenging for vegetarians and vegans. But this little cafe is an absolute gem - and just a short walk from the cathedral square in Vieux Lyon which offered only the usual touristy fare. There were three lunch choices - a spiced cauliflower veloute, served hot or cold, a hot dish which looked very nice, rice based with veg, and a cold dish which was a salad loaded with all sorts of different tastes and textures. It's a small place but open and airy with a few tables outside. We didn't have time or room to try the vegan cheesecake or the lemon/coco squares which both sounded delish!

Delicious fresh food on a small menu that changes everyday, everything is organic, vegan and mostly raw. Really peaceful and cozy atmosphere, probably one of the rare spot overlooking the Saône river. I would recommend to anyone!

Excellent brunch - Edit

I went here yesterday (30 August 2015) for the advertised brunch. It took me a while to find the place, it's not really a vegan restaurant per se, but a weekly Sunday brunch menu in the Coffee House (also known as Coffee Games it seems, but that's not the name on the door!).

After finding it, the people who ran it were very friendly and passionate about what they were doing. Regrettably, my French isn't good but they spoke good enough English to explain the menu, ingredients etc. The atmosphere was really nice and relaxed.

The brunch involved a number of plates and drinks, including a really excellent raw lasagne, handmade chocolates and shots of fruit drinks. It was clear that a lot of thought had gone into each dish.

It seems like it's a new concept for them, this Sunday was only their 3rd week of offering a vegan brunch menu. I'd definitely recommend checking their Facebook page before making a trip to check it's running and, if it is, I'd recommend without hesitation.

Pros: Great food, Unique in Lyon, Friendly and passionate staff

Cons: Only on a Sunday!

ThierryAmorin 03 Sep 2015 - First of all thank you for your warm comment!
We are at the beginning of a beautiful adventure and the coffee shop is going to propose a card vegan from September.
We are delighted to have met you and we would try to improve our English for the next visitors.
