Bananarama!!

Lovely friendly place with plenty of room and a nice atmosphere. Most of the food is vegan. On the day I visited (26 July 2012 I am actually writing this as I eat here) they had mushroom soup (not vegan) and a roasted aubergine, courgette and butternut squash served in a bed of cous cous and chick peas. The mains are all under £5 and drinks are very well priced indeed. It's very relaxed and informal with a pleasant traditional interior. Vegan cakes are also served which is always a nice treat and they looked great. Will visit again for sure.

Friendly, yummy and great for students.

We love cafe venus! The staff are super nice and the food is always awesome and lovely and cheap. You can get a huge breakfast, veggie or vegan, and a hot drink for just over 3 quid as a student! There are also specials which are changed daily and are always of a high standard and obviously home made. Alchohol is super cheap, £2 for a vodka and coke! Would recommend to anyone.

Pros: Excellent food, Friendly Staff, Good Value
