I’ve been meaning to visit Cafe Vegu for a while and I’m sad I didn’t go sooner! All vegan Korean food is a dream. We ordered lunch and drinks, everything was delicious. There was no seating left but we got takeaway and took it to a local park to eat. Couldn’t recommend more 🌸

A great vegan cafe serving Korean food for brunch/lunch. Lots of nice coffee and drink options and several bakery treats such as cookies and cakes. The hazelnut frappes were delicious! We came on a Sunday around lunchtime and it was very busy so we had to queue. The staff were really friendly. Food was really tasty and fresh and I’d love to come back to try the other menu options.

Lovely atmosphere, great Korean food - Edit
Loved the Korean food and creativity, the cheesy garlic bread bun was very rich and great to share. I ordered coffee, the sesame latte, cake and the maeun dubu jorim deopbap and loved everything. I would suggest more veg sides to add different textures, but really tasty overall.

Bright airy and spacious place. Serves breakfast brunch and lunch, not open in the evenings. We had a delicious lunch here. Interesting menu with an Asian influence. Everything on it looked amazing and we loved our food. Good portion sizes and very reasonable. The cakes looked delicious too. Free tap water. Really great for gluten free as well. Friendly staff. Definitely recommend a visit. Note: the toilet was down very steep stairs so if you have mobility issues you will not be able to use the toilet.

The cafe was popular and full of people eating delicious looking dishes. I had an amazing tofu and vegetable dish with sweet & spicy sticky sauce with rice & my non-vegan friend had beans on toast with kimchi, mushrooms and vegan bacon. She absolutely loved it!! Good size portions and I was able to grab a box to take home what I wasn't able to finish. A great range of cakes and biscuits - I really enjoyed my black sesame seed cookie. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend a visit.

I had an iced black sesame cream latte and a matcha cookie, and they were both so good! I came back the next morning for a mango iced matcha and a slice of chocolate chip banana bread, and they were great too, plus the staff were really friendly and the cafe had a really cosy vibe. I'd love to come back and sit in for a proper breakfast or lunch here someday! :)

Stopped in for a sweet snack and they had so much choice! Went for the miso and pecan cookie and it was amazing. Wish I was in The area longer so I could go back to try some of the other lovely sounding vegan food.

We had the Tommy Toast and Red Reuben, which were both very flavourful. I would highly recommend coming here if you are in Lewes. Very reasonably priced and friendly staff too.

Wow, the chocolate brownie and macha cookies here were to die for, amazing vulgogi pastry and yummy Tofu ciabatta too - we will be back to try their bokeumbab soon! Please note though, they no longer do kimbap or bubble tea!!

Lovely venue with an interesting, varied menu. We had the bulgolgi and the dumpling soup with noodles. Food took a little while to prepare but both dishes were really good. Wish I had time to try more.
