Vegetarian café “Ukrop”

“Ukrop” – is a remarkable place in Petersburg. A café with a singular vegetarian cuisine, unique interior design with restful and cosy atmosphere. In two years “Ukrop” florihed into three cafes and each of them has its own concept and individuality.

In café “Ukrop Flat” located on the 7th-line of Vasil’evsky island, you can really feel homey. Every guest can make its own cup of coffee and without constrain enjoy a desert in the fridge, or then relax on the entresol after a good meal.

The three cafes are different but have similar original vegetarian dishes, cheerful interiors and a changeless warm welcome.

Now fully vegan

In 2020 all Ukrop cafés switched to a new all-vegan menu. It's simple and delicious, a bit of everything. Very cozy and nice place. You can use an app to collect cashback points and get a free orange juice.

Pros: Full vegan, Cozy

Cons: Small menu

Meh

I tried the tofu burger. Please ! The bread was defrosted and still strong...
Moreover, it’s not a burger, it’s just:
1. Bread
2. Sauce
3. A slice of white tofu
4. Sauce
5. Bread
4 fried, yes, it’s not a lie, 4 fries...

And always the same pb if you don’t speak russian, it’s the mess.

The hot cocoa was good !

Not the best

Укроп is really not the best. It's a chain restaurant and they charge a lot for very small portions of bland, uninspired meals. I recommend trying some of the non-chain cafes instead. Staff is also not very attentive.

My fav place in Saint Petersburg

This café has a very nice ambience and great service. Menu has a rich variety with vegan and vegetarian options.
Mushroom risotto and chocolate/orange cake are my favorites. Great teas too and and unbelievably good selection of appetizers.

Pros: Great food, Great service, Good price

Vegetatian place with vegan dishes

The place is really nice and cozy. But the service is very slow. We ordered just two drinks. The cafe was half empty and there was a lot of waitresses but we had to wait for 15 minutes. So Ukrop is good for the long meeting but if you have to rush it isn't a right choice))

Pros: Nice design. A lot of vegan options in menu

Cons: Veeeery slow service

Really good food, try the bowl combo

Great food and the bowl combo with a soup and dessert is a great value. There is an English menu and staff speak English.

i would recommend it

It is a very good place, I have been ate there all the summer. It is a place for a company about 1-3 persons. They have small tables..... a very tasty menu and friendly staff !!! I recommend it.

Pros: exellent food, normal price, business lunch

Nice place!

Many vegan and raw options, their cold soup with avocado was amazing!
The ravioli was not properly cooked (needed a bit more) but it could be because I told them I was in a hurry.
All in all,cozy atmosphere and very nice food with many options.

Pros: lots of vegan options
