Right around the corner from a busy street is this little oasis of calm and tasty food and coffee.

Otherwise, great stop.

Maybe I got there too late? - Edit
I’m visiting from New Jersey and was super excited to come here - but was disappointed. There were only 2 baked goods left - a muffin of some sort and banana bread. I got the muffin and it was okay. I also got a latte, which was good, but nothing to write home about.
Read moreMaybe I got there too late? (2 hours before closing) or maybe they just didn’t have great options today. It’s still worth a go if you’re in the area.

cozy vegan cafe - Edit
Close to the Mount Royal subway station, so very easy access, friendly staff and nice options. Nice chai/coffee mix options.
Read moreA downside is they usually do one morning batch of goodies and when they’re gone they’re gone for the rest of the day. So depending on what you’re looking for, you might need to be there early on when it opens to guarantee some (and they might sell you limited quantities as well).
Pros: close to the subway, fairly priced
Cons: no second batches

Nice little cafe, with plenty of options. Good value for money. Unfortunately they had run out of oat milk, so we didn’t have a coffee.

Amazing croissants and cakes - Edit
We stayed in Montreal for two days and visited Cafe Tuyo three times because we just liked it so much! We tried most of the things on the menu and liked everything, especially the croissants and small cakes. The staff was very friendly and the service was fast and efficient even though the place was quite busy. Highly recommended for everyone looking for a quick and delicious breakfast/lunch/snack!

A gem in the Plateau - Edit
I've come here many times and it's always been a pleasant experience. They offer a good variety of desserts and sandwiches (they even have Jamaican patties!) in a nice cozy atmosphere. Great spot for a quick bite or for students who want to sit there for hours.

Delicious food - Edit
My husband and I had a great smoothie with parsley and mango, a nice hot chocolate. For food, we started with a croissant which was very nice and flaky. Then we had a baguette sandwich with an excellent crust and tasty filling. And we also shared a bagel which was freshly made for us. The service was very friendly and excellent. The setting is very cozy. It feels like an old school Vegan locals spot. Definitely recommend!

Cute Little Cafe - Edit
My wife and I stopped in here for a quick bite and we weren't disappointed.
Read moreThe food options were limited to a salad, a soup, and some sandwich options. We had the salad and the soup, both were very good. We also had a coffee and a lemonade.
The prices were good, the atmosphere was very relaxed. It's the kind of place that one can spend a lot of time at doing work or reading.
I definitely recommend checking it out!
Pros: All vegan, great atmosphere,
Cons: Slightly limited variety

Best vegan coffee shop in mtl !!! - Edit
Came here to get a few drinks with my family. I ordered a matcha and the apple tart and oml that was amazing. My mom ordered a cappuccino and an almond croissant and she really enjoyed those too! Finally my sister ordered a salad (the salad of the day I think) and a raspberry muffin and she really liked those too. The only thing I would suggest if going there is maybe ordering more of a coffee (drink) or a pastry rather than a salad because they specialize more in those.
Read morePros: Such cute decor !! Reminds me of central perk:), The BEST matcha (don’t even fight me on this), The prices are not too high

Pros: Nice vibe for studying or friendly conversation, Music at an adequate volume, No rush atmosphere
Cons: Only some tables have access to charge blocks
