Nice for desserts ! - Edit
This café is so cute, love the decoration. The cakes and drinks were delicious. I went on a Friday evening, the café was full, it seems like a very popular café.

Popular space full of vegan sweets - Edit
Good cafe & bakery full of various cake options and drinks. Summer season is met with bingsoo (shaved ice) of peach, mango, and red bean flavors. Cakes are decent and use of seasonal fruit is appreciated.

For the Vegans with a Swet Tooth - Edit
Aka me! A top 3 spot in Seoul
Read moreWent in wanting the famous lemon meringue. They had sold out, so we ordered the mango bingsu, banana cream cake, raspberry tart, strawberry cake, and mint chocolate cake. Absolutely delicious! Ate the mint chocolate the next day and the texture was still wonderful.
It was so good we came back again (still no meringue) and ordered the mango bingsu (cause it is just that good!) pumpkin tart and grapefruit cheese cake.
Highly recommend to all vegan and non vegan dessert loves!

Love this place so much - Edit
The desserts are amazing and so are the drinks!! Iced strawberry latte was my go-to whenever I visited. Make sure you have dinner at Nammi plant before or afterwards - it's owned by the same owner and both places are superb. Nammi plant lab is basically right across the street.

Came back after several months and was super disappointed - Edit
New: came back. I used to love this place
Read moreToday’s visit was so disappointing!
Non of the cakes were good
One bite was literally enough
The raspberries tart was utterly sweet. Seemed not probably done and crust was pure butter
Mugwort was only whipped cream! Who wants that?
Can’t say anything positive except for the coffee which was good, but took them super long to make so one arrived hot and the other lukewarm already…
Staff seemed disinterested
Hope they just had a bad day….
Breathtaking cakes
Café turtle 🐢 was on my list for way too long. I was craving some delicious dessert and is there any better option than the probably best rated café in Seoul?
Update: I went back couple of times and every cake is top notch!
They really know what they’re doing!
I can also recommend the pistachio raspberry cake and the sesame mugwort
But I am sure every cake is outstanding
I came quite late during the day so there wasn’t much to choose from, but I still couldn’t decide between chocolate 🍫 and blueberry 🫐 cheesecake
The cheesecake was unbelievable 😶
Crumbly Cookie 🍪 bottom topped with a baked cheesecake and a creamy blueberry 🫐 topping above all. Thankfully it was not too sweet and well flavored it didn’t taste like whipped cream more like a creamy mixture that fit well with the baked cheesecake and crumbly bottom layer. I am speechless & I have tried so many great cakes 🍰 before.
It is an amazing place and the decor and plants make it a great place to study as well. Nice staff, free wifi and water. Very clean bathroom. It is quite popular here so better go early! Gluten-free options (gf) and nut free options clearly marked. Around the corner is Nammi which is worth visiting as well.
Cakes are between 7.5-8.5 I guess

Great vibe - Edit
Great cafe in the vegan alley. Would recommend the tangerine basil drink for the best thing you’ll ever drink. Cake was slightly dry and artificial tasting. Restroom is in an adjacent building (just ask for them to show it to you).

Incredible cake! - Edit
We had the banana cake and a grapefruit orange cheesecake. The cheesecake was just okay; the texture was not great, but it had a nice flavor. I would skip cheesecake from here. The banana cake was perfect though. Very light and fluffy frosting with great flavor. I also had an oat milk late, which complimented the cake very well. The cafe itself has a nice ambiance, and the staff was very nice.

Great cake! - Edit
I'm not a cake person but had to come here after going to nammiplantlab. I got the blueberry cheesecake and it was really good. The flavour of the top section is really nice and the smooth texture too. I also got a mango banana smoothie. The place is nice too with pretty decor. It was very busy I went to very loud but I'd still go again to try another cake.

Beautiful cakes - Edit
I think Cafe turtle sells the prettiest vegan cakes in Seoul. While there I got a lemon meringue, and slices of blueberry cheesecake and berry chocolate cake to go; and drank a citrus Ade and strawberry latte with my friend. The vibe is very relaxed and there are many plants so it has a calming atmosphere ✨

10/10 amazing - Edit
I love Cafe Turtle! Easily the best vegan cakes in Seoul. I'm glad it takes 40mims for me to get there otherwise I'd be there everyday lol.
Read moreThey have a huge selection of cakes, cheesecakes and pies. The average price is about ₩8,000 but the serving size and taste is 100% worth the price.
My favourite is the blueberry cheesecake - it doesn't have that weird soy aftertaste common with vegan cheesecake - or the raspberry and pistachio cake. Honestly you can't go wrong with any of them.
Their drinks are good too and an average price for a Seoul cafe. I really like their soy cream iced latte.
The cafe is a nice chill spot with lots of seating, indoor plants and cosy lighting. 10/10
Pros: Delicious, Amazing range, Great value
Cons: Nothing!

After Nammi, the turtle... - Edit
Had lemon meringue pie and pistachio cream cake. Both were delicious, but the americano was a bit too weak for my taste. Perhaps I should've asked for an extra shot of espresso.

A must visit - Edit
Cafe turtle has some excellent cake, nice drinks, and bingsu in the summer.
Read moreSome cakes are better than others, but overall the quality, appearance and variety makes them one of the best bakeries in Seoul. Best cakes are the tarts, lemon meringue, and mint choco. I think the lemon meringue is one of the top 5 desserts in Seoul.
Other cakes like the salted caramel are way too sweet for my personal taste.
There are 2 flavors of bingsu, pat and mango. Both are very good.
Recently they added bagels and cream cheese to their menu. The bagels are decent, albeit a little too soft and sweet, but unfortunately the cream cheese is all sweet. Even the flavors like jalapeno and onion. I think the fig cream cheese would be great on desserts like cinnamon rolls and strudels, but I was really disappointed about the cream cheese.
The interior of the cafe is quite pretty and has quite a few tables, but its extremely popular so it can be difficult to get a table, especially around dinner time.

The BEST bakery in Seoul! - Edit
At least the best that I've been to. If you've been envious of all the beautiful baked goods at the omni cafes in Seoul, be envious no longer because this place outdoes them all! The cakes are beautiful, creatively flavored and most importantly, super indulgent! Not a healthy crumb in sight, you come here for a cakey good time! The price reflects the quality, but you will absolutely not regret buying out the whole case!
