Unusually bad - Edit
Meat-heavy menú, but as a fan of Mediterranean cuisine, I was excited to try the few vegan options. I was stunned by what I received. The falafel balls seemed made from a powdered mix, and were both stale and burnt. The hummus also seemed from a powdered mix. No sign of chickpeas (canned or otherwise) in it. Flavorless. The dolmas were mush, with a terrible sauce on top that seemed like store-brand ketchup warmed up. The lentil soup was great. Service was nice. But the food was comical, and did not look or taste authentic or good by any conceivable measure. A new chef is needed.

A nice change - Edit
We got spinach pide w/o cheese, baba ghanoush, lentil soup & veggie claypot, plus a falafel gyro to take home to our kid. We’ll add vegan tzatziki at home. Everything was fresh, veggie heavy, and delicious! I do wish their filo was made without butter, but alas…

Cons: A vegan dessert option would be great!

Turkey trot - Edit
This is an attractive, waiter-served Turkish restaurant, where you can sit on cushions on the floor or at tables. They have some clearly labeled vegan items. I had a falafel gyro that was quite good, and my friend has a hummus plate that he loved. For my gyro, they needed to sub the feta and tzadiki for hummus--for which they charged me extra.

Authentic Turkish - Edit
Bloomington's best Mediterranean restaurant. Full of flavour! I love their falafel gyro, baba ghanoush, hummus, and sarma! We will be going back to try to the rest of the vegan options.
