Delicious Pides!

I didn't know what a pide was when I first visited a few years ago but I visit regularly for them now and try a different topping combo every time (I reccomend the artichoke one!). Since first visiting I've gone from veggi to vegan and in my opinion they are better minus the mozzarella. It's great to be offered something different from the usual falafel, hummus, spicy bean options! If this place was closer to home I'd be here all the time. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for vegan cakes here next!

Pros: Plenty choices for vegans, Great chips, Lovely view

Cons: No vegan cakes

An "option" isn't merely removing the Mozarella.

5 times on the Cafe Thyme menu they list as a Vegan option that they can remove the Mozzarella. Removing an item is not an option, it's removing an item! So, no, unless the soup happens to be Vegan, there are no Vegan options at Cafe Thyme. The theme is "Turkish", so how about offering the option of falaffel or hummus or spicy beans of some sort?

Pros: Nice setting overlookiong fields, Overlooks a child's play area

Cons: Can get busy and noisy, Staff can be busy

They’re happy to replace the removed mozzarella with another topping.

Great café and lunch

Nicest eating place we found in four days on Arran, and best meal. Who’d have thought we’d have our first Pides on Arran! They are boat-shaped, with thin crust and a lot of topping, and were very tasty. The café is attractively furnished with plain wooden tables and chairs, and the setting beautiful. Friendly staff – waitress even helped identify a bird we’d seen that morning!
