Cozy, but still enough seating. They have a few vegan options and great coffee with different milk alternatives. Also accommodating regarding changes/wishes. Nice for breakfast & lunch!

Great Options, Great Vibe - Edit
There were several vegetarian options on the menu from breakfast items to falafel or tofu sandwiches. I had the VLT and was so happy to be eating a protein source other than eggs or dairy in Ireland. The place was very busy and pretty small so we had to wait for a table and wait for our food, but it was worth it for the 2 vegetarians in our group. Our meat eaters were less impressed.

Five stars - Edit
Cafe Temple is very affordable. The full veggie breakfast is delicious and the berry smoothie was everything I needed. The music playing was as if I made the playlist myself, so.. awesome! And I love seeing the owner Seb working alongside everyone else in the kitchen, always with a big smile on his face. One of, if not The Best places to go in Galway!

Great Vegan Breakfast in the Heart of Galway! - Edit
Just finished eating breakfast here and it was great.
Read moreMy wife got the granola which was amazing and I got the veggie fry (vegan style). Also amazing. On the vegan fru they replace the eggs with a fried mash of sweet potato and black beans that was freaking delicious. Even if you eat eggs I think you should try this instead. You can get eggs anywhere.
They also have amazing looking pastries and desserts (most are vegan), smoothies, fresh juices and coffees with any type of milk you can think of.
The space is great with a small upstairs as well. If you are in Galway check this place out. If Happy Cow allowed 5 stars for spots serving meat they would get it.
Pros: Delicious vegan options, Cozg atmosphere, Super friendly

So many vegan treats! - Edit
I had a tasty cake here, but really struggled with which dessert to pick because there were so many vegan options! Hoping to go back to try more! Definitely recommend this cute spot for a delicious oat milk (or soy, almond, or coconut, as I recall) latte and vegan treat!

Friendly and cute conscious cafe - Edit
Café Temple is an adorable little place on a quiet street two steps away from the buzz of central Galway, with friendly staff and several vegan options, both sweet and savory. Local, organic ingredients plus social business giving back to the community makes for an even lovelier experience. I had the vegan sweet potato & black bean wrap, but would definitely go back and try more food options. Hats off for the “Karma coffee” option (buy one for you and one for a stranger in need).

Great social cafe - Edit
I had a vegan almond milk hot chocolate and it was really good. The project of this cafe is to use local and organic food only to support the local producers. All the profit are donated to local charities. This place is living, dynamic and really cosy.

Super Yummy! - Edit
Had the Super Veggie Burger for lunch today and it was sooooo good! Came with a salad and some yams. Best food I’ve had in Ireland so far and so much better that the proceeds go to a good cause! My carnivorous little brother did throw a temper tantrum, however, because the menu was too healthy. Since the café is small everyone could hear him whining and swearing because he couldn’t get his proper fix of dead bodies. Even so, there are a few meat options if you have friends who consume corpses. Shouldn’t be a problem for anyone using this app though! :)

Vegan desserts paradise - Edit
In temple Café you'll find a nice place to go for a bite to eat with a great variety of juices, smoothies and teas. For food I recommend the FALAFEL hotdog or the beetroot burger. For sweets, you can go for almost everything fro. vegan scones (the only place I know) to cookies, raw cakes, cheese cakes and everything in between. The staff is very friendly and the music is great!

My favourite place in Galway - Edit
As a vegan, I love Café Temple.
Read moreEven though they are not a vegan café they try to be ethical, giving to charities, buying local, using upcycling furniture and biodegradable cups. The staff is super friendly, especially Seb, the owner of the place, by now he knows me and every time I go in he starts telling me what vegan cakes they have, of which they always have at least 2 or 3 different types. They generally also have vegan scones, a variety of plant based milks and excellent coffee.
Their vegan burger is very tasty and filling, and the soups are always vegan made with fresh veggies.
They used to make amazing vegan buckwheat pancakes, I hope they'll make them again in winter!
Pros: Friendly staff, Vegan desserts, Socially conscious
Cons: Serves meat , I can't give 5 stars only because it's not vegan, It should go vegan

Hi, thanks for the great review. Just to let you know, we do the Buckwheat (Pink Pancakes) at breakfast all the time, you may have called in after 12 when we switch from breakfast to lunch. You can always chance asking for them after 12 and if we are not too busy with lunch orders we would do them for you. Best wishes, Steve

Cozy delicious nook - Edit
Right off the Cornstore, a great place to wander, this is a wonderful option for a heathy and filling breakfast or lunch. The atmosphere is a welcome reprieve from the touristy bussle outside and the conscious mission of the cafe mixed with the delicious food and friendly staff make it a must visit.
